Another problem with it was the flow tap you use sometimes gets clogged up with the fruit it hasn't really blended together so you have to clean it before using the tap and if your going to do that you may aswell pour it straight into a glass without using the tap function.

YET another problem is that after pilling lots and lots of fruit in it expecting it to fill 3 or 4 glasses - it doesn't as for some reason and not alot of use later it seems to leak out from the collection point into the base and onto the kitchen worktop so after moving the juicer I realised that it was stuck to the worktop due to the amount of juice that slipped through the machine and stuck the juicer to the work surface.
VERY UN-HYIEGENIC!!
But after all these faults it does make a good fruit smoothie but whether that is worth all the hassle is up to you!?!?!?!
It does have its plus points tho ...
The two motors will work simultaneously in order for you to remove the juice from any fruit and leave the pips and skin of it in order to get the best results from your fruit.
It has a 1.5 litre capacity which is plenty for 4 decent sized glasses.
Blades, filter etc can be removed for easy cleaning although not sure if it dishwasher safe.
Makes a damn good smoothie or fruit juice.
I give it 2* as I have had my fair share of problems with it considering it is a well known household brand.
Advantages: Spacesaving...urm... Disadvantages: Impossile to clean, juice leaks through machine onto work, top tap clogs
Very dissapointed in this machine, I chose an all in one smoothie, juicer and citrus juicer as I knew I would be using it a lot. Starting with the smoothie maker/blender. Unless you add a lt of liquid the fruit sticks to the sides and will not blend, the great pokey thing they supply with it does not reach the sides, I know it has to keep away from the blades but it is that high it is useless. the tap then glogs with thick smothies or unblended fruit. ... ...to clean the tap and fruit juice gets stuck in the tap, even soaking,running water through it will not get rid of it, it is just about possible to clean the plug hole but is not easy.
The Juicer, Firstly you have to cut the fruit fairly small to get it in, then the juice stays inside the machine and slowly trickles down the spout and when you have drunk your measly half a glass full you struggle to remove the blades and collector for cleaning when ...

Advantages: Juicer, Smoothie Maker & Citrus Press In One Package Disadvantages: Fiddly To Clean, Clogs Up Easily
The Kenwood Smoothie Juice Bar attempts to combine a Juicer, Smoothie Maker and Citrus Press into one unit but fails at all three.
The citrus press part works OK, but even this can be fiddly with the unit failing to rotate if you put more than gentle pressure on it (which you need to do to extract the juice!)
The centrifugal juicer (which is interchagable with the blender) seems to take up a large quantity of fruit for relatively little juice. ... ...machine and out of the base.
The Smoothie Maker itself is OK but not brilliant. The blades aren't very sharp and the fruit tends to get stuck at the base of the blender. The unit has two speeds (the lower speed is recommended for the juicer, but I found that the higher speed was needed for the blender). The tap on the blender is detachable which is just as well as it is somewhat prone to clogging up.
The whole thing is a bit akward to clean, with ...

I was given this kenwood JE 770 SMOO all in one smoothy maker for my birthday several months ago. It comes with a smoothy maker, a juicer, a cirtrus press and a smoothy rescipe book. For the first couple of uses it was great and the only down side was the time it took to clean. The smoothy maker developed a brown stain and i couldn't get in to clean it, also im not convinced the tap ever got cleaned properly.
The juicer was also difficult to clean ... ...a very hygeanic piece of kit!!!
The smoothy maker was easy and quick enought to use. When using the juicer the fruit has to be chopped up in to small pieces and some of the fruits had to be peeled. When using the blender you have to chop up the fruit and also you have to put the liquid and soft fruit at the bottem nearest the blades. The citrus press wasn't a problem, chop the fruit in half and put the lid down, easy!
