Advantages: quick , quiet and gets every drop! Disadvantages: can be a bit of a bother to wash!
...I recieved this kenwood juicer for my 21st birthday this year and i love it! i have been raving to all my friends about keeping healthy and it is such a great way to get portions of fruit and vegetables.
The fruit takes a very short time to prepare, all you have to do is peel anything with a skin (oranges bananas etc.), chop into chunks that fit the inlet at the top and juice away.
I have a fruit juice every morning and although i say a disadvantage is to clean it, i really think that is just me being lazy! All parts of this juicer are easy to empty and can go straight into the dishwasher, you can either empty the left over pulp into the bin or use it in cooking for things like pies or sauces.
This fruit juicer is also very handy for hangovers! when all you need is vitimins vitamins vitamins this juicer is quick and very quit...

Advantages: Simple to Use, Small & Tidy, Inexpensive, Looks Stylish Disadvantages: Not totally efficient, Washing is a hassle.
...do anything as adventurous as squeezing my own juice however simple. It looks pretty on my shelf though and i intend to get it down again when it's a bit warmer.
Also, where I live (central London) is not the most sensible place to buy fresh fruit, especially if you're going to annihalate it in a juicer because it's so expensive!!
But the price of fresh fruit nowadays is not an argument against the Kenwood juicer itself. If you like freshly squeezed juice this is a great little machine for a beginner. Not suitable for industrial amounts of juice and whatever you do don't bother with bananas, they just produce a very small quantity of unappealing goo. If you want banana juice you need a blender not a juicer!
Hope that helps with any decisions!...

Advantages: Safe and easy to use, makes lovely juices, dual function Disadvantages: Messy, some waste, lots of washing up
...I had wanted a juicer for some time, after trying freshly squeezed juice at a local juice bar and again on holiday. Fresh juice is so refreshing and healthy, but is often quite expensive to buy, so I decided I wanted a juicer of my own, and dropped some heavy hints to my other half just before Christmas!
Lo and behold, Christmas morning arrived, and amongst a selection of lovely parcels from my beloved was a large box, containing a KenwoodJE700 Dual Purpose Smart Juicer (to give it its full name!) I was delighted, and had produced my first glass of juice by 10 a.m. on Christmas Day!
SO, WHAT?S IT LIKE?
The juicer is approximately the size of a large blender or small food processor. It is white plastic with a transparent top, so will look good in most kitchens. It comes with an extremely simple instruction booklet which...
