...The Kenwood KDC-237 SA is a very sleek and modern looking cd player, with the funky stick control for the track selection and the perfectly placed volume control, also given a stainless steel look just to finish off the look. This unit will stand out in your dash!!! As a cd player it is very good value for money, with the easy to use control interface and user freindly buttons it is definatly one of the easiest to use on the market today. The only disadvantages are the fact that there is no CD changer option, aswell as no mp3 capabilities. However, if your looking for a simple and easy cd player then this is the one to choose, however, if its a large and powerful system you are after then the other kenwood units are the way forward. ...This concept system [SE-A700 + SE-A900] created in the late 1990's still holds very well against today's current crop of hifi systems. The control centre [C-V301 + C-V350] is the brains of the separate system allowing one-touch source control from DVD, to LD, to radio, to CD (or whatever else you have plugged in!). The amplifier [M-A300] can deliver 600W of output power across six shielded 2-way speakers to create a range of bass and treble that even mid-range systems a decade later cannot replicate. The front speakers can replicate the surround speakers. The front speakers come with built-in subs to avoid the dependency on a dedicated subwoofer. The subwoofer can act as a bass center speaker. ...I recently bought my first car which is 14 years old, and it still had the original radio/cassette player in it. At that point I wasn't even able to drive, but I still spent a lot of time in the car and wanted something a bit better. I own hundreds of cassettes, but the majority of them are over ten years old, so I was intending to get a cd/mp3 player instead. I happened to mention this to my parents who then said they had a cd player (but no mp3 capability) that they'd taken out of their previous car which was being scrapped.
