Kenwood BT30 Bluetooth Car Radio Review with images 6 of 7 Ciao Users found the following review helpful
Rating from mobileradiofitter 5 Stars ()

Advantages Bluetooth, front AUX on 3.5mm. Black in colour to match most dash boards,

Disadvantages Mic in the front panel so large vans and lorrys might struggle with backround noise.

The Kenwood BT30 is a very nice replacement radio unit,
As most modern car radio's, It comes ready with a 3.5mm jack on the front panel, (no cable supplied), But can be sourced for a couple of pounds.
This cable plugs straight into any headphone socket, Mobile phone, Ipod, Iphone, PSP, DS inc 3DS, even a laptop. So you can have the audio of what ever you want coming through the speakers, Very good quality.
Fantastic radio, Very clear audio, but like most Kenwood car radios, Best to go into Menu, by pressing Menu button for 3 seconds. Select Auto tune and turn off, when you press it, it will read Auto 1, then Auto 2, then off. And turn off AS. This function will get the radio to scan for stronger signals when in use, but it’s more an annoyance.

Cd playback is great, very simple and clear. Repeat and Random function, Fast forward and rewind, and plays a multiple of formats Inc MP3, AAC and WMA files.

Best bit to come,

Kenwood KDC-BT30
Bluetooth connectivity... Bluetooth 2.0. Parrot software inside. Will connect to 99% of Bluetooth equipped phones. Inc Iphone 3, 3G, 3Gs and 4.
Better yet, when paired with a device that supports A2DP. The unit will stream music too. I paired both my Nokia 6700 and Iphone, The Iphone worked well but cant stream the music wirelessly, The Nokia did perfect. Just open the music player on the phone, press play and presto.
The mic is built in to the front panel. Clearly on the front, but not really viewable. It’s very discreet.

The SRC (source) button has Radio, Cd, Bluetooth phone, Bluetooth Music and off. (Which is standby) To turn the unit off press the SRC button for 3 seconds,

The front panel displays a nice pale blue text colour which is clear enough even on a bright sunny day. The units 4x50 watts peak (4x30 watts RMS) give a full powerful sound.
The radio unit comes pre wired with an ISO plug.
The volume knob is Chrome, I found this was a nice touch and can be seen easily in dark conditions. 1x RCA rear or subwoofer switchable.
6 clear radio preset buttons, which illuminate.
FM 3 banks of 6.
MW 1 bank of 6
Bluetooth supports upto 1000 numbers per phone.
Claims to read sms messages but this function didnt work for me.
two phones can be paired but only one at a time.
Bluetooth software upgradable.
Phonebook display too. names displayed on the kenwood units screen.

Ready for in car wired steering remote controls (requires separate part)

The looks are good too, Black coloured face, (removable) and with a little bag to put it in. Pop off style removable. Easy button layout. Red illumination.
All in all this radio gets a well deserved 9 out of 10.
