People had advise me to stick with brands like Alpine and JBL but I could not be happier with my Kenwood Head unit, at the time I had spent around £70s for it, but it was worth it.

I have had another head unit before I bought this one and after a few months buttons were sticking etc So far with this head unit I have not had any issues. I own a modified car and this added to my sound factor immensely, it pumps out 4 x45 watts and has MP3 and WMA playback, this meaning that you can play data discs which can store 200+ songs. People have always told me that "joy sticks" on phones and head units are terrible as they snap off or somehow loose connectivity with the head unit. I have had no problems, however I treat it with respect and not harshly change tracks with the knob, and I in fact find it a very easy way to function the CD player. On this model the back light glows green and I think this create a comforting ambiance when driving at night. My only annoyance with this product is on the display it is limited to only a set amount of digits/characters, so the song being played will not be fully displayed on the screen if its over a certain length. "Let me love you" would be let me lo" for example. There could be a setting to have it scroll, but I have not found it as yet. The CD player has settings for your bass level, your treble, the fade and balance, it does not have a sub woofer control, however I have mine linked up to a sub woofer and speakers and I find I can set a nice sound with the controls on the subs amplifiers and the bass/treble settings.
