Advantages: looks, name Disadvantages: deep bass quality, price tag
The kenwood DB+ is an attractive sub, it has everything that you would want from a car sub, the looks, the power claim, and the trusted name brand. However the one thing that the kenwood db+ fails on is perhaps the most important thing of all, gut werenching bass. Most people are like me and buy a subwoofer for their car because they want thumping bass blasting out as they drive. If this is what you are after then this sub isnt for you. it has a max power claim of 1000 watts and dont get me wrong it is a loud sub. but there is just something missing. it seems to distort alot on low bass notes when the volume is up. I know you may be saying, 'well thats your amp,' but it isnt because i rana rockford off the same amp and it only had a power claim of 400 watts and it was twice the strength. it is all around not a bad sub, but i would not ...
Advantages: Range of features, quality of pictures in night time mode. Disadvantages: Quality of pictures in cloudy weather and low light,
110. Increasing the ISO to decrease the shutter speed is, in my opinion, the least effect way of preventing motion blur. Images taken where this feature has been activated were considerably 'noisier' than images taken without, which were otherwise crisp and clear.
*The HD shooting mode was brilliant. The HDMI port built in makes it easy to hook up to your HDTV or PC. Everything was easy to use here and video quality was very impressive.
*The widescreen lense at 28mm is by no means the widest lense available on a compact, but is considerably better than most compact lenses and produces great pictures in most situations.
*The Ixus 110's rechargeable battery lasted about 150 shots with heavy zooming, making Canon's statement of 200 reasonable.
The bad points
* Image quality really does suffer in cloudy weather and low light ...
Advantages: Small, easy to store and good for those small jobs in the kitchen Disadvantages: Will struggle with larger items
** IN CONCLUSION?
As I have had previously used Kenwood products before and had been quite pleased with what they had to offer so I was quite adamant that this little processor would be as good as it claimed.
Plus I didn?t want a monster of a processor, as I knew I wouldn?t need to use it all the time so it would have to slot into the cupboard without stopping the door from shutting, so when I saw this I thought it would be the perfect size.
Setting it up is fairly simple with the bowl fitting onto the middle shaft, although it can be a little tricky at times, but not enough to spoil the show.
The liquidizer is by far the better of the two ?bowls? doing a much finer cut and being so easy to clean in itself.
Cleaning it is just as easy with it?s removable blades, which, by the way, are made of quite high quality stainless steel so ...
