I bought this Minidisc car stereo in Germany, after my Kenwood tape player stopped playing tapes (which was in the car when I bought it, so I have no warranty, manuals etc) This was the only MD player in a huge megastore of car stereos, that fitted all my requirements:- Had to be able to load the minidisc without opening up the front panel (to avoid taking my concentration off the road when changing discs) Needed a removable front panel, as my car security is not fantastic! Didn't want a package including CD changer because I didn't like the idea of my favourite CD's all being in the boot of my car. Wanted one that was easy to use, and without an LCD that was more concerned with pretty pictures than telling me simplisitc info. Had to be relatively cheap. In the end I chose this Kenwood MD player, paid about £200 for it, and had it fitted today. It sounds excellent, even with my 2 rear shite speakers! If your requirements are like mine, then I believe this is an excellent choice.
