Kenwood KM 010 Titanium CHEF

What a wonderful piece of equipment! I got this marvellous machine for my birthday (after months of dropping hints) and am absolutely thrilled. As one would expect from the Kenwood brand this machine is a joy to have in the kitchen. If I was totally honest it would be fair to say that I needed a new Kenwood like a hole in the head - after all how many virtually retired batchelors really need a food processor? If you're looking to buy a food mixer then you really can not do better than to go for the kenwood chef. I've had mine for around 7 years now - when I bought it, I debated over whether to go for the kenwood or a kitchenaid. After carefully investigating both machines, I decided to go for the kenwood. I received one of these for my birthday as my girlfriend and i love cooking and keep a modern kitchen, the item is practical, easy to clean, makes little mess due to the size of the mixing bowl, easy controls on the speen so cant complain at all, not expensive, so for those wanting to practice pastry baking at home this is ideal, The lead itself isnt long if you have a large kitchen with few sockets, but works perfect in mine, come with a selection of recipes that are easy and a quick way to start using the appliance, also it is not too big so can be staored in most cupboards or left on the ... more

I bought a kenwood chef titanium for one location and a chef major for another. The main tool didn't fit on the major and then the same tool got stuck on the titanium. I called kenwood who said that 3,000 machines went out with a fault and they had decided first, not to stop them going out even tho' they knew of the fault; and then hadn't bothered to notify purchasers.
