Overall an excellent mixer. I purchased this mixer primarily to mix bread dough and it has performed beyond expectations. Every week for the last 4 years I have used the Kenwood to mix 2 - 3 loaves of bread, which is heavy work. I have not had any problems, in fact, I love using this machine. It is much quieter than then older Kenwoods and more power than you could ever want. The mixer will stay put when mixing a single loaf, but tends to 'walk' around the benchtop when mixing a double loaf., so watch it.
