...unique to Kenwood - The DMASK+ system. this allows one of two things. For security purposes you dont want people to know you have a £300+ cd player in your car, so you want to take the fascia with you. Well you can do this with the kenwood (as with many other brands), OR you can allow the fascia to flip over to reveal a black panel which hides the fact that you have this amazing unit in your car. Another very good security feature of ths unit is the DMASK Key. When first plugging the unit in, it will not allow you to do anything at all, it will just sit there and play a demonstration. To unlock it you have to use the "key". this is a little blue keyring with a tiny transmitter built in. you aim this at the front of the fascia and hold down the little button until it shows three cheerys (like a fruit machine). You only have to do this the first...

...I got my KenwoodKR-V7030 on my 18th birthday, a present from my mum & dad. That was 14 years ago now, and this piece of metal still keeps going.

If you buy Kenwood separates to attach, there is the availability to link them into the amp via cable, so that the one master remote controls all actions (very handy by the time you have a CD player, tape deck, and TV set-up tied in to the amp!!)
The sound system is equally easy to arrange for personal taste. There are two main channels (A and B) which can be...

...The Kenwood KDC-237 SA is a very sleek and modern looking cd player, with the funky stick control for the track selection and the perfectly placed volume control, also given a stainless steel look just to finish off the look. This unit will stand out in your dash!!!
As a cd player it is very good value for money, with the easy to use control interface and user freindly buttons it is definatly one of the easiest to use on the market today.
The only disadvantages are the fact that there is no CD changer option, aswell as no mp3 capabilities. However, if your looking for a simple and easy cd player then this is the one to choose, however, if its a large and powerful system you are after then the other kenwood units are the way forward.
Overal a very good unit....
