Advantages: Easy to use, Dispensing Tap Disadvantages: NOISY!!!
...is that this product is not suitable for dishwasher usage.
So, now I had the product I needed to put it all together before I could start “playing” with my new toy. Full instructions are given in the manual as to how to assemble the product, and they are very simple. The only thing I would advise is not to let young children assist in setting up the processor, as the blades that are supplied are extremely sharp.
The Kenwood Smoothie Maker is made up of the following:
Stirrer, Cap, Lid, Goblet, Tap Assembly, Sealing Ring, Blade Assembly and a Power unit.
Smoothie Maker Series and product details
The product is advertised with the claim, that you can make your smoothies the New York Way, with this Kenwood processor. The product is available as a SB200 (White) or SB206 (Shiny Chrome), of which I have the SB206.

Advantages: Easy to use, compact, cheap Disadvantages: Loud
...As seen as though I have eaten like a beast over the festive season, I thought I'd try and be a little more healthier in 2005, so I bought a Kenwood New York Smoothie Maker, model SB200.
After doing a little research on the internet I found out that Woolworths in the UK were currently selling the product for only GBP 22.99, so as seen as though I love a bargain I went out and purchased one whilst stocks lasted.
Once I arrived home (with pounds and pounds of fruit) I set to work making my first ever smoothie. Basically when I removed the product from it's box I could just plug the machine in as it came fitted with a plug. After reading through the easy care / instruction manual I began to put my fruit and ice in. There are three main buttons to the right of the see through chamber (which holds the fruit). These buttons are 'Off' which...

Advantages: Quick boil, easy to lift because of the traditional shape. Disadvantages: Lid could easier to open .
...I purchased this Kenwood SK996 approximately about three
months ago because our Russell Hobbs Montana was leaking
at the base.
We went back to a classical shape which is easier to lift when
full.
The Kenwood is much quieter when bringing to the boil than the Russell Hobbs Montana.
The lid could be easier to remove but it has a good knob to grip
hold of with your hand round the handle.
I found the clear duel windows easy to read the amount of water in the kettle.
I live in a hard water area but the inside seems to be keeping
fairly lime free so far.
The washable filter is smooth to remove and easy to clean.
I would reccomend to my friends that they purchase the Kenwood SS996....

As one would expect from the Kenwood brand this machine is a joy to have in the kitchen. Previously I... more
This food processor was a replacement for my last Kenwood that expired after over 25 years of use.
The motor is housed beneath the bowl and this makes it very compact, and I am keeping it out on the worktop, the previous model was a big cream ugly thing more
I'm not really that much of a cook however when I do prepare things I like to have all the relevant gadgets I need.
My previous processor was old and so I decided to replace it, mainly because I saw that many sites had great deals on them.

This was initially an impulse buy but in 6 months of use is now a necessity.
My wife dislikes most fruit and vegetables but, as part of a get healthy campaign, she decided she needed to eat more fresh food. So a good compromise was to do it via a... more
