Out of the blue last weekend I decided one more push to try and get something suitable and, as if by magic, the Kenwood EON kettle and toaster jumped out at me shouting "buy us, we're half price at Boots".
So I did.
What's the kettle like then?

One of my other colleagues said it was definately a "boys" kettle and wished he'd bought one himself when he did ... ...can overheat but I'm sure Kenwood have thought of that.
So far, so good.
Don't believe some of the manufacturers bumpf though, it's not "ultra quiet", our existing cheap plastic kettle is easily quieter. It also made such a noise when boiling the "minimum" 200ml water I paniced and clicked it off.

Beware!
In summary it's a very nice kettle, obviously a high qaulity item and would not disgrace any designer kitchen. However, with beauty it suffers a bit on the practicality front. ...

As one would expect from the Kenwood brand this machine is a joy to have in the kitchen. Previously I... more
This food processor was a replacement for my last Kenwood that expired after over 25 years of use.
The motor is housed beneath the bowl and this makes it very compact, and I am keeping it out on the worktop, the previous model was a big cream ugly thing more
I'm not really that much of a cook however when I do prepare things I like to have all the relevant gadgets I need.
My previous processor was old and so I decided to replace it, mainly because I saw that many sites had great deals on them.
Kenwood... more
This was initially an impulse buy but in 6 months of use is now a necessity.
