...I have found this kettle very quick to boil, easy to lift and replace on the base and easy to clean. The only things I could complain about is it is quite noisy. It sounds as if you are getting it to boil with the lid off. I expected a much quieter kettle than the one I previously owned. When it has boilt the switch gives a loud clunk. The Kenwood SK950 kettle is a real winner. It stands out from similar brands because the design is just so balanced and refined, particularly for the price. I believe this kettle is the best looking of the 'traditional' style and its performance matches its appearance.
