This toaster has clearly been designed specifically to avoid the common irritations of the value for money everyday toaster. It implements an array of features that makes it less an irritation at 7am and more a God-send. The first of the advantages for this product is the 'cancel button', not typcaily installed on competing brands, this feature actualy lets you stop the toasting process if things are getting a bit hot, or if you just misjudged the time. Another "innovation", if i may be so bold as to use the word, is adjustable size of the slots. This is brilliant as it makes toating awkwardly sized foods easy, (and prevents the use of the grill which is slower and more tiresome)...for example hot crossed buns, which are possibly the hardest devils to get in and get out. This leads nicely to the next feature which is the high-rise lift. this simply projcets the toast etc. a little higher than your average toaster, making the removal of smaller items easier. This can prove to be a bit messy, but its safer than jamming a fork in the slots to retreave your breakfast or turning the toaster upside down and spreading crumbs all over the kitchen top. However, the "spreading of crumbs" can now easily be avoided by the tray at the bottom which can easily be removed for cleaning, keeping the TT920 in a better state of health. A particularly brilliant safety feature is the "auto-off" switch which acts like a circuit breaker, turning the toaster off if bread becomes jammed, avoiding such hazzards as fires and electricution. Another less original idea, but still one worth considering as an up-point, is the variable browning. This simply allows you to make the perfect piece of toast for your morning.
An obvious drawback of such a large apperel is the fact that there is simply alot that can break and go wrong on this device, for example, the tray at the bottom for emtying crumbs can be difficult to remove and replace. The plasticy exterior controls also can seem a bit flimsey, and wont work if heavily mistreated, but this is compensated by the tough stainless-steel shell that surrounds the majority of the toaster. It can only take 4 slices at a time as well, which isnt necerssarily bad if you live alone or in a small family, but it certainly wont cater for the larger familys. A final disadvantage of this product is the odd shape; it can seem almost top-heavy, with a narrow base and slightly wider top, it wouldnt be difficult to knock over or damage if one was to careless. This questions the overall durability of the toaster.
overall, a good purchase, it does seem good value for money, but there is potential for a need to repair it, but for what it offers, its worthwhile

I simply love my Kenwood appliances. I just cant get enough of them. They are stylish, durable and very good performers. I cant fault any of the general appliances which I have purchased and this is exactly the same. It does exactly what it sets out to do. Simple as that.
Firstly it is stylish with its black matt edges and clean matte white finish. You wouldnt think that it would be stylish but it pulls it off and looks good in any kitchen. I personally ... ...There is also a small kenwood logo on the main section of the toaster which is suprising as Kenwood tend to have an extremely large logo placed on them. Hmmm. It also comes with a high lift which helps to ensure that you're precious fingers dont get burnt too much. Such as simple feature, however so many toasters which I have owned simply do not have this feature on them. Nice, saved my fingers anyway. This toaster should be cleaned as well with ...

Advantages: Simple controls, easy enough to use, toasts 4 slices in one go! Disadvantages: Struggles on home baked bread, body doesn't always stay cool in use, availability
...unit with the name of Kenwood and although it wasn't the best it took me a few years to realise that the company who make kitchen appliances and Hi Fi's are not the same people! Doh!
Well its harmless enough mistake to make given that the look of each brand emblem is virtually the same. These days however I have moved onto better things and replaced my old Hi Fi with an all in one unit, half the size and twice the amount of features. The same goes ... ...I set eyes on the Kenwood TT920 toaster. Unlike any other toaster I have had, this is a large toaster, much larger than the compact cube like ones I have had before, but this is down to the fact that the TT920 is a 4 slice toaster and can handle any size of bread including home made bread. This had been a great advantage to me as my sister usually visits me at the weekend bringing home baked bread for me as I do love my toast and bread!! Measuring ...
