I happen to love this toaster - along with the matching kettle it has transformed our kitchen into something a bit more sleek and chic. It's given the area a more modern feel and has the appearance of a quality product, which for the most part it is. It replaced a £4.00 toaster from Tescos which couldn't actually fit a piece of bread into itself - it toasted half, you took it out and flipped it round ... ...settings (Or Browning Control as Kenwood likes to refer to it as?!)
2) A defroster
3) A lever on the side that allows you to pull the toast up and check it without stopping the toasting. So a Toast Preview, if you will. Officially called a Peek n View
4)Reheat button
The toaster is fairly wide, but it's slim or at least as slim as a four slice toaster gets. It has curved sides so doesn't look like a brick and it's ... more

It replaced a £4.00 toaster from Tescos which couldn't actually fit a piece of bread into itself - it toasted half, you took it out and flipped it round then put it back in. So really I'd' have been happy with any upgrade. But when these items were bought for me and my fiance as an engagement present from my parents I was really chuffed. Instantly loved how they looked and loved having proper toast!
Right, the features of the toaster are as follows:
1) Six heat settings (Or Browning Control as Kenwood likes to refer to it as?!) 2) A defroster 3) A lever on the side that allows you to pull the toast up and check it without stopping the toasting. So a Toast Preview, if you will. Officially called a Peek n View 4)Reheat button

Yes, as mentioned in the other review of this product, this toaster gets a bit hot. But this is mentioned in the user guide, with plenty of warning. It's not ideal and no I probably wouldn't recommend it if you're children can climb up to the work top, but it's never been a problem for us. I can only see it being a major problem if you just like touching toasters. But as long as it's at the back of the work surface there's no need to touch it. It cools down very very quickly.
Another disadvantage, according to my partner is that it takes too long, but I haven't noticed this. It seems quite quick to me.
Overall, I'd say that it was a product worth buying. It's a well made, sturdy product that I'd say was safe enough. And it makes blinkin good toast!!

Quick review of Kenwood TTM 333
This toaster may look good, but I cannot recommend it to anyone. I was shocked to find that the shiny chrome outer walls of this toaster get extremely hot very quickly. This is a nasty accident waiting to happen. It is absolutely not suitable for anyone with young children or for elderly people - in fact, I cannot see any reason for anyone to put up with this very basic design flaw.
I returned it and bought the cheaper coolwall toaster, also from Kenwood, which I am perfectly happy with. ...
