The first thing I detected about the fragrance was that it was a soft and powdery kind of smell with a very strong element of vanilla musk which is present in the base ... ...currently dominating the market.

Kenzo Amour is a oriental fragrance that was launched in 2006. I came across this fragrance as I was browsing through the perfume section of Debenhams, when the bright coloured bottle caught my eye. I picked up the bottle and squirted the fragrance on my wrist and neck. The first thing I detected about the fragrance was that it was a soft and powdery kind of smell with a very strong element of vanilla musk which is present in the base note of the fragrance, I was surprised by how much I liked it as I am very fussy when it comes perfume. A few hours later I found myself sniffing my wrist thinking Mmmmmm the fragrance had dried down to a even softer creamy/powdery smell that was more a comfort smell than some of the sickly sweet in your face perfumes that are currently dominating the market. My overall conclusion is that Kenzo Amour is a lovely warm and comforting scent that most vanilla lovers will like. If you like perfumes such as hypnotic poison, kenzo flower and JP Gualtier Classique then I'm sure you'll like this.
