I have been using the bainsatin 1 for normal to slightly dry hair for several years now (I would describe my hair type as fine and slightly dry) and I have found it to be great, leaving my hair thoroughly cleansed and healthy feeling and residue free -unlike some of the high street brands which I find can leave my hair feeling weighed down and lank after a few uses.
Although on face value it may seem a bit of an expensive product, I personally find I only need to use very little each time so a bottle does go a long way - and so overall I have found it works out a lot cheaper than impulse buying numerous different shampoos only to find they don't suit.
In the past it has been difficult to find this product line as it is only sold (as far as I can tell) in some of the more expensive salons, but with the increasing popularity ...
Advantages: Leaves hair soft, ultimate luxury, get what you pay more for Disadvantages: Maybe price but worth paying extra, i usually prefer natural/organic products

I have real trouble with my hair, it had random kinks in it so i have to straighten it but now its really over processed and dry from colouring and straightening and if i wash it one day, the next day it will be completely parched.
Ive tried like 100 other shampoos and i always come back to BainSatin. Its just 100% luxury. Just started using it again because i cheated and tried a few other things recently and the first time i washed it again it felt like my hair actually breathed a sigh of relief!
As my hair is so dry i do have to wash my hair twice, even with Batin Satin, to get a good lather as the first wash my hair just absorbs it all!
But i wouldnt want to use anything richer as it weighs my hair down.
Ive used Batin Satin 3 before which is for really dry and sensitised hair ...
