Kettle Chips Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar

Disadvantages: A bit pricey!

...quality and morals of the kettle company and brilliant. Kettle chips were one of the first brands of top quality, expensive or “posh” crisps i encountered and to be perfectly honest i have sold my soul to them – I will never look back. Chips that come from a kettle? What an odd idea!

Advantages: Tasy, vegan
Disadvantages: Not very healthy

...Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar kettle chips. Chips in this context are just an American term for crisps, and these are just a bag of nice crisps. Priced at 60p for a 40g bag, they are one of the larger bags in the machine and have a rather posher feel than many brands. Kettle chips are manufactured by Kettle Foods. They are hand cooked potato crisps that have been produced since 1982. Since 1988, they have also been available in the UK, with the Sea ...
...in 1997. ===The crisps=== The first thing I noticed about the crisps is that they are rather thicker than normal crisps and slightly tougher. Many of them are large and the crisps have folded over or doubled back on themselves, so it can be quite messy and undignified to eat them. The crisps are also darker than regular crisps (which are often a dull yellow colour). The flavour of the crisps is not very much like regular salt and vinegar. They are ...

Kettle chips Sea salt & Balsamic vinegar

Disadvantages: Not all supermarkets stock it

...vinegar crisps I have found Kettle chips comes out tops by a very long way. * PACKAGING, AVAILABILITY COST AND APPEARANCE * Kettle chips Sea salt and Balsamic vinegar are packaged in a blue strong airtight plastic bag with the Kettle Chips silver written text logo at the front and the flavour written in black on white text box at the front of the pack. ...The taste and texture of Kettle Chips sea salt & balsamic vinegar is out of this world. I have found they are extremely crounchy, three times thicker and crunchier than all other known makes of crisps. They have an extremely great taste of sea salt & balsamic vinegar combined for that great taste, great for a norishing mid evening snack. In comparison to all other known makes of salt & vinegar crisps i.e, Golden Wonder, Walkers, The Real Mc Coys, ...

The best crisps ever!

Advantages: delicious!
Disadvantages: difficult to stop eating, not cheap

...a big selling point of Kettle - they claim to only use a particular variety of potato, picked from 200 varieties, which they claim produces the best crisps. There are no chemical additives or MSG and the crisps are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The manufacturers claim that they are lower in fat and salt than standard crisps. I did wonder if this is perhaps because they are slightly thicker - obviously the thicker the crisps, the higher the ...
...we don't eat crisps if we're trying to avoid fat and salt do we? The crisps are cooked in sunflower oil [which has the advantage of being virtually tasteless] and seasoned with balsamic vinegar from Modena. TASTE Now the taste - this is the good bit! These really are the nicest crisps I've tasted. When you open the packet you are hit with a warm, pleasant aroma which contributes to the eating experience, and you can't wait to get stuck in! I was ...

" A Natural Obsession" - Kettle Chips

Advantages: tasty, crunchy, great flavour
Disadvantages: only that you should not eat a whole pack at once!

Kettle Chips are possibly the nicest crisps in the whole wide world. I first remember trying kettle chips when I was younger and my Mum and Dad had some people round and I have been hooked ever since. * Flavour * Something a bit different from the traditional salt and vinegar and you can really taste the difference with the Balsamic Vinegar from the Modena region compared to regular salt and vinegar crisps. * Texture and size* This is another ...
...the quality of potato used. Each individual crisp is crunchy and seems so much thicker than other popular crisps. The size of the crisp is often bigger than other crisps. * Now for the technical bit * Ingredients: select potatoes, sunflower oil, sea salt, dried balsamic vinegar, potato maltodextrin, white sugar, dried malt vinegar (contains malted barley), citric acid from sugar beet molasses. These crisps are suitable for vegans and coeliacs ...

Kettle Chips, Mmmmmm I'll take the whole bag!

Advantages: Strong flavour
Disadvantages: Salty, can be expensive

...go for this flavour of kettle chips. They are very strong in flavour and incredibly salty which suits my tastes, but I would not recommend giving them to children, my 3 year old insists he needs some if he sees me eating them but I only give him a few due to the salt content. No need for a dip or salsa with these as they have such a good flavour. The packaging is lovely and screams out quality, a dark blue packet made of a strong foil type material ...

I love them

Advantages: Proper flavour - you can seriously taste it!!!!!
Disadvantages: None!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kettle Chips are amazing!! Seriously!! You know you get those crisps that say, 'four cheeses and red onions' and then you look at the ingredients and you see no indication of four cheeses of red onion...only the one word: 'flavouring'. That annoys me. And the flavouring isn't even convincing. But then there are Kettle Chips. They say 'sea salt and balsamic vinegar'. You turn to the back and you really do see 'sea salt and balsamic vinegar!!!'. Well wait till you taste the contents of that bag!! It's true - totally true. It tastes exactly of what it says. It's amazing and I love them. Totallly...just can't express how much I love them. And there are such unusual flavours - such inspiring flavours, like that cranberry one and the one with the port. I'm not too good at remembering names, but the flavours remain oh so ...

Review of Kettle Chips

Have a 'Snack-A-Jack' Snack!

Advantages: Healthier Alternative to Crisps, Tasty, Reasonable Price.
Disadvantages: Can be a Bit Dry: Make You Thirsty!

whether I was on a diet or not because I enjoy the taste. ***CONCLUSION*** I appreciate that some people will not like the texture of these snacks. However I personally like the texture and I like the fact that they are crunchier than potato crisps. I also like the fact that the packs seem to contain more than potato crisps and they seem to be more filling. I don't prefer them to potato crisps but they are tasty, and they are healthier. They make a nice change for those who eat a lot of snacks. They are something a little different. For me Snack a Jacks definately do not beat Salt and Vinegar potato crisps. My favourite Salt and Vinegar crisps are Kettle Crisps: I think anything would have a hard job trying to beat them! If you like Salt and Vinegar then you must try the Balsamic Vinegar and Sea Salt potato Kettle Chips ...
