The quick cup is a great product, i like that you have instant hot water at a push of a button and that the water tank is still cool to touch. It is small enough to hide away in your kitchen and the design looks modern, it is easy to fill up the tank and easy to operate. The tefal quick cup heats up the water fast but I have found it sometimes to be inconsistent in the temperature of the water, although I think it is still hot enough. The tefal quick cup does occasionally spit the water but it doesn't spill much of the water. I haven't used the room temperature water option so can not comment on it. A very well made made jug kettle. The good points are the central locator on the base,ideal for left and right handed couples,the level viewing window on both sides of the kettle also ideal.. ...the kettle was missing. Morphy Richards can only suply replacement filters or counter cartridge. This kettle filters the water very quickly - much quicker that another well known brand I have tried at work. If you fill the kettle by swivelling the see-through section of the lid (without opening the lid) you can visually see how much water to put in.  Quick to filter and equally quick to boil.
