A Bargain Boiler Or A Bit of A Bruiser?

Advantages: Rapid boil, 1.7 litre capacity, concealed element, part of a collection series, cheapish prices.
Disadvantages: A few design issues, not enough heat insulation, weird cup gradients.

Advantages: Fast boil; tidy cordless base; does the job
Disadvantages: Limescale filter not great; feels a bit clunky and cheap
