Looks nice but makes water taste weird

Advantages: It boils water
Disadvantages: It boils water with a taste to it, bad lime build up, a bit cheap

Looks good - tastes weird Recently I reviewed a Kettle made by a man called Russell. I beamed about how good that the kettle was, and I also made a point of stating that I prefer plastic kettles because they don't seem to be plagued by limescale. C ...

Diamond review  Just add water….

Advantages: Reaches boiling point quickly. Looks very stylish. Easy to keep clean.
Disadvantages: Quite noisy. Weird tasting tea if the water is reboiled.

For the last couple of years my partner and I had been “making do” with a kettle he’d purchased in Tesco for £2. A bargain, I hear you cry…and it certainly was in the beginning. Several years use had seen the white plastic of the kettle turn an unattrac ...

Boiling Cool Blue

Advantages: switches off as soon as boiling point is reached
Disadvantages: paintwork looks like it might easily get scratched

She knew after the lights went out for the second time. It was the kettle. Jaw clenched, she emerged from the fusebox cupboard. The master breaker gave her the heebie-jeebies, not helped by a lack of caffeine. Things had to change, soon! @pgn0 Pic ...
