nice looking kettle
Review of Kenwood SJ480 by NEILBIKERBOY

Advantages: looks good, fast and nicely designed
Disadvantages: quiet loud

just moved address and these sort of things i like to buy new so went shopping and saw this one. nice looking kettle- stainless steel with black plastic handle and lid. the base is rubber that grips well to the surface. As i am left handed and most the other people in my family are right the 360 base that it sits on is handy. there is a water messurer underneath the handle, strange place but shows up well, the switch is also underneath that and has ... Perfect for any average user
Review of Russell Hobbs Millenium by calumneilson

Advantages: Fast, small, easy to use
Disadvantages: A little expensive

The Russel Hobbs Millenium Kettle is the best kettle that I have ever had or even used. It costs £30-£50 which is about mid-price for a non-commercial kettle. This is a fairly reasonable, but maybe a little high price. The kettle is simple and doesn't look ugly. It is white plastic with no metal, which makes it double insulated and very safe. It isn't too big in size, but still holds quite a lot of water. At just under 2 litres maximum volume, ...
...to use. The boiling speed is phenomenal. Even when it is completely full it still boils in a few minutes. If you just want enough water for one cup then it can boil in roughly 30-50 seconds, which is very quick even for an expensive kettle. This has been around a long time, but is still very popular. I would highly recommend this kettle to any average person who needs one. ... Read review

Dualit Kettle
Review of Dualit 72302 S/S Cream JUG by emmag32

Advantages: Looks the business!
Disadvantages: Perhaps the price?

I have been using this kettle for around four months now and I've very pleased with the look, design and performance. We needed a new kettle and having been given some vouchers for John Lewis decided upon this kettle which was higher in price than we may have otherwise paid. I really like to sleek design and the colour fits perfectly with our kitchen. The kettle feels sturdy and is easy to clean. This model also covers a smaller surface area than ...
...another review I noticed that they found the boiling time unacceptable, I've timed mine (out of curiosity because I hadn't noticed this) having filled the kettle to max and flicked the switch, it boiled in 2.35 - this is acceptable to me, especially as I don't boil a full kettle on a regular basis. I wouldn't strongly recommend this product, neither would I steer you away from it, because that's your decision to make. I can only present my experience, ... Read review

Quick cuppa with the Tefal QuickCup
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by dbarcl10

Advantages: Warm water in 3 secs, energy saving
Disadvantages: Doesn't boil water

The Tefal Quick Cup is a type of kettle, but instead of boiling a whole kettle of water to make a single cup of tea, the Quick Cup heats only the amount of water required, therefore saving energy. Tefal claims that a cup of hot water takes only 3 seconds and I was sceptical at first, but its true. The machine itself is mainly black with a stainless steel control panel on top, and has 2300w of power. The machine is made from high quality plastic, ...
...If you look on the Tefal website, nowhere does it says anything about boiling the water, it only says it provides hot water. For me the temperature is ideal, but if you like it really warm, you won't be happy. Similarly the cold water is really room temperature, the machine doesn't do anything to chill the water, but if you use the filter, it will be room temperature filtered water. In the home the noise may be fine, but in an office, it can be ... Read review

Why not is the question?!?
Review of Eco MAW893 by Betsyholly

Advantages: Quick to boil and helps save the planet!
Disadvantages: if you dont remember to fill the second chamber it has a 95% chance of breaking!

...not is the question!?! The Eco Kettle is a great tool for the kitchen, works basically the same as a normal kettle but helps save the planet! The idea behind it is that it only boils the amount of water you need and no more, meaning its quick to boil and at the same time uses less energy then if you were boiling more than you need. Its also not bad on the eye and allows you to see how much water your putting in. One thing thats important to remember ... Read review
