Advantages: big lid and easy access Disadvantages: lid falls down if you dont tip it back while filling
i got mine some 6/7 years ago from a catalogue and was suprised at how quick it boils. Very handy for other uses as well as there are no elements in side as they in the base unit. Being stainless it always shines and of course no paint to peel off. This can boil a pint of water quicker than if i use the gas hob. You can get ya hand inside to scour it if its chalked up and has never let me down. Id buy another if it went wrong. I didnt think id get ...

Advantages: looks good, quick Disadvantages: low water capacity
Having recently just purchased this Bush kettle I must say I really love it. I really like the look. It has a clear glass bowl for the water so you can watch the water boil (f you wish!!) .
The heating element is hidden away so keeping the asthetics nice and tidy. It also comes with it's own Anticalc filter thus stopping limescale from entering your beverages!
The plastic base, handle and lid is in grey and black colours. There is also a red L.E.D ...

Advantages: It Boils Water, without burning it Disadvantages: It is a kettle
This is my greatest challenge to write a good review on a cordless kettle, hardly the most inspiring thing to write about but I will persivere.
The element has a 2000 W rating which is pretty impressive, and it also means that it boils water pretty dam quickly. Especially at the minimum level which is around about 2 Cups worth (this is around about half a litre or a pint), when it just seems to boil in seconds. The maximum capacity is 1.7 litres ... ...a nice level indicator which is clear and easy to read.
It does not have an anti scale filter which may be an issue for thouse of you that live in areas with hard water.
At the ned of the day it is just a kettle whos job is to boil water quickly to make my coffee and it does that job very well. The list price is £25 and as it was bought as a present I am quite happy that I did not pay that sum off on money for a kettle. Having said that its performance ...

Advantages: Heats the water faster as it is metal Disadvantages: Kettle can burn you, also annoying filter
This kettle isn't my own it is my girlfriend's parents. When first seeing this kettle I like the small circles as I found it an easy way of measuring the water. The shape of this kettle also is good as it isn't dumpy so it doesn't take up much room. A big disadvantage of any kettle I get is that it is metal (though this might give it a crisper taste) because this can burn me when I'm trying to get a brew in the morning which really doesn't help my ... ...water filter that is built into the spout of the kettle as it is held on with two clips. The problem is that when you are trying to fill the kettle up from the tap, you sometime slightly hit the filter and the filter will fall into the bottom of the kettle and since it's hard to put the filter back into the clips this is just a frustrating for something where you just want a cup of tea.
All in all I found this kettle to be unsatisfactory but my ...

Advantages: Fast Boiling Kettle Disadvantages: Short Power Cable
I recently bought this kettle at Comet for £24.99. It has a maximum capacity of 1.7L and has levels clearly indicated up the side. It is a cordless kettle which sits neatly on top of the power source. The element is fully concealed within the inside base of the kettle. One point which may be seen from the diagram is that the kettle is a white thick plastic but then with a more transparent plastc rim round the handle and spout which I think looks ... ...water filter inside the kettle which can be replaced however, I removed it as it made the water taste strange therefore ruined my tea! An imortant downside is the short power cable - meaning the kettle has to be positioned quite near the socket. An important advantage is that at 3000 watts it boils water very quickly. ...
