Cookswork cordless kettle
Review of Cookworks Kettle by jenny967

Advantages: Very cheap
Disadvantages: noisy when boiling

...I decided to buy the Cookworks kettle, white in colour and cordless, the max capacity is 1.7 litres. So I was pleased at the idea of saving myself a few quid, and so far so good its still going, although I did only buy it about four months ago. The only bad point so far is that it is noisy when it boils, but who cares I am still able to have my tea, so the noise is bearable. Highly recommended ... Read review

Cookworks works, at half the price
Review of Cookworks MK17DOB by cokane

Advantages: Cheap, Quick, Good looking for the price
Disadvantages: Inauspicious brand if you want to be snobbish

The Cookworks MK17DOB, for me, is a great example of how simple no fuss products can be well made for a small price without sacrificing quality. I often feel that with the larger name brands, their less expensive options are usually vastly inferior to their higher price models; the specifications being much reduced and the quality of design and materials used being less than satisfactory at times, usually breaking fairly soon. The larger companies ...
...This is invariably Cookworks for kitchen appliances and when I made my first investment in a Cookworks kettle, I couldn't help feeling that even at the low, low price of a fiver, I was still getting ripped off. However, when I got it home, it did exactly what it was supposed to and never let me down for three years. No faults, no leaks, just a relatively fast working, reliable kettle. Lovely job. When I moved house I left the kettle where it was ... Read review

Advantages: Lightweight, Safe, great features, value for money.
Disadvantages: None

Cookworks MK17P06A Signature Cordless Kettle. ---------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- Yesterday morning whilst venturing into the land of the living, I decided it was time to wake myself fully with a second cup of coffee of the day. Sadly, my attempts failed as my old kettle decided it was going to retire after 6 years of dedicated service. I was then reduced to the saucepan on the cooker routine to boil ...
...I was drawn to the Cookworks MK17P06A Signature Cordless Kettle for only £7.99. I immediately sent my husband packing to purchase the kettle. Kettle Features. ------------------------------ The Cookworks MK17P06A Signature Cordless Kettle offers a 2200W output and has a 1.7 Litre water capacity. There are water window features on the kettle, which allow you to clearly see the water level in the kettle. The kettle also clearly shows that maximum ... Read review

Hot and steamy
Review of Cookworks WK8260 by lulujackson

Advantages: Good value for money, beautiful sleek and elegant design
Disadvantages: slightly chunky handle, may be a concern for hand or wrist problems.

THE COOKWORKS SIGNATURE KETTLE Recently my regular kettle developed a leak so I had to rush out and buy a new one . On arriving home and opening the box I was terribly disappointed with the cheap and tacky kettle I unwrapped, so off I went back to the store and replaced it with the cookworks signature kettle. ON OPENING THE BOX I was definitely more than pleasantly surprised. what a delight to see the sleek smooth features of this shinny new ...

Cookworks Stainless Steel Kettle MI702A
Review of Cookworks MI702A by norwichuser

Advantages: all steel jug, easy to clean and use.
Disadvantages: inherrent design faults will lead to short operating life if treated roughly.

...and models. The Cookworks MI702A replaces the 11525 model which had only 1 flaw-it did not have temperature overload protection on the element. The redesigned kettle is basicaly flawed with the on/off switch being mechanically linked to the power connector. The extended reach of the linkage is prone to distortion and eventual bending or breakage where the parts interconnect and engage the (STRIX - power connector/power relay). Even though it is made ...
...also suffers from overboiling due to the Lid popping up slightly and allowing steam to escape instead of tripping the thermal switch. (now on 3rd kettle of this model, both having failed with the same fault within 5 months) . If they could resolve the problems with the lid and sort out the power switch linkage, they could have a really great product that would beat the competition (even those costing £60 or more) hands down. Overall it is a good ... Read review
