Dualit Kettle
Review of Dualit 72302 S/S Cream JUG by
emmag32
Advantages: Looks the business!
Disadvantages: Perhaps the price?
I have been using this kettle for around four months now and I've very pleased with the look, design and performance.
We needed a new kettle and having been given some vouchers for John Lewis decided upon this kettle which was higher in price than we may have otherwise paid. I really like to sleek design and the colour fits perfectly with our kitchen. The kettle feels sturdy and is easy to clean. This model also covers a smaller surface area than ... ...another review I noticed that they found the boiling time unacceptable, I've timed mine (out of curiosity because I hadn't noticed this) having filled the kettle to max and flicked the switch, it boiled in 2.35 - this is acceptable to me, especially as I don't boil a full kettle on a regular basis. I wouldn't strongly recommend this product, neither would I steer you away from it, because that's your decision to make. I can only present my experience, ...

Great Kettle Reasonably Priced
Review of Dualit 72300/72400 S/S Black JUG by
missc83
Advantages: Stylish easy to use
Disadvantages: Limited capacity
This kettle looks great- really stylish and is a proud edition to my kitchen. It boils quickly and the swivel base makes it easy to handle which is great in our house as we have a right and left hander. Generally the ergonomics are great- the handle is comfortable and easy to use. The spout is well controlled and the maximum water linr is set low enough for the water to not boil out like my previous kettle did. However I find the volume of the kettle ...

Attractive looking
Review of Dualit 72301 S/S RED JUG by
maddyhamiltonuk
Advantages: Attractive, easy to pour, quick to boil
Disadvantages: loud when boiling
...kettle to accompany the red dualit 2-slice toaster and it looks every bit as smart in the kitchen!
At £50 it was more expensive than we would normally buy but am glad we spent the money on a quality product.
Has an adequate water capacity and one of the best features is the easy-to-pour spout - gone are the days when boiling water spills on the counter when pouring! The stainless steel kettle does not mark with finger prints or water marks as easily ... ...clean and shiny, even with alot of use.
The lid however, can be a little stiff at times and the top of the kettle where you fill it with water is narrow which can be fidlely.
The base which the kettle sits on does not appear to fit as snuggly as it could but these are small picky points which should not take away from the quality of his product. ...

Not the best
Review of Dualit 72620 TRAD Chrome by
line6warlock
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Noisy
This seemed like a fantastic idea because as a mum with 2 small children, I am forever boiling the kettle - getting distracted & having to reboil it again to make my cups of tea ( of which there are many)
Tefal claim that this machine will save 65% of your energy, compared to using a standard kettle as it only heats the water needed for your cuppa. This makes it much more environmentally friendly than your regular kettle, plus it can also dispense ... ...that's your thing. Actually the 'cold' water is at room temperature as it is not a chiller.
It is extremely easy to fill and use and takes up less space on my worktop than the seperate filter jug & kettle that I currently use. however, that's about as positive as I can be.
When you read the booklet inside the box, you discover that it does not dispense boiling water & therefore is not suitable for things like making up baby formula, or some packet ...

Dualit 72303 S/S PINK JUG Kettle
Review of Dualit 72303 S/S PINK JUG by
mints4merlin
Advantages: Looks fabulous, easy to use and quick to boil
Disadvantages: bit pricey
Dualit is a household name, well it is around our home anyway. Our last 3 toasters have been Dualit and now we've got a sqanky little kettle too. Reknowned for quality, poshness and durability, it's a brand also well known for being rather pricey and our cute little kettle is no exception. For being the hippest kitchen on campus we had to part with £40 that we could have happily invested in the beverage econonmy sector commonly associated with saturday ... ...adults and invest it in something that might last a bit longer and not reault in such violent sickness the following morning. Yes you read correctly it's a baby pink kettle. Not a very large one as only carries 1.5 litres - thats enough for about 8 cups of tea, hot chocolate, coffee or a cosy cuppa soup. The handle is also plastic and shaped so it is easy to pour and place back on it's disc to boil. It comes complete with a manual but we've not used ...
