Advantages: Looks good and boils water quickly Disadvantages: No power on warning light
I am really pleased with this little kettle and I love its traditional looks. We bought it secondhand in a house clearance but it has had very little use and still looks like new. It was bought specifically for the use of two adults and it does a great job of boiling water quickly. It is used in the kitchen of a small studio apartment which forms part of a very old house and it fits beautifully into its surroundings. I list below some of the features ... ...some of those it does not have.
Appearance: It is highly polished metal with a stainless steel look and it is very glossy and shiny. It is a round sort of pudding shape. The lid has a black knob on it and the handle in also black. The kettle sits on a round, black 360 degrees rotational base which means you can place it in any direction you like. This also makes it ideal for left handed users like my partner.
Capacity: Although the kettle looks ...

Advantages: boils water for my tea/cofee,simple Disadvantages: simple, corded
Haden corded jug kettle. The builders, bless their cotton socks broke my kettle and they replaced it with this Haden corded kettle I am not ever so happy about it but at least they replaced my kettle without being asked.
This white auto jug kettle cost about £18. The guarantee is for 12 months.
A plug is already fitted to the lead. I find the cord/lead a little short .I am sorry I can find no info on the length and I can not find a measuring tool ... ...kettle is a tall jug with a water level gauge on the side. I find this useful. It will boil 1.7 litres of water.
The on off switch is located on the handle of the kettle. This is pushed down to start the kettle top boil and when the kettle boils it automatically switches off. My husband thinks it takes a long time to boil.
The spout is fine pours water without dribbling.
It has a lid that fits on the top, which sometimes I find fiddly to put on.

The haden haden kettle is a nice looking kettle which boils water in a very fast time, and on top of that, is extremely aesthetically pleasing and looks nice wherever placed. The durability s good, and can afford to be dropped and does not stop it working, and is still light weight and can still protect itself from a drop of most heights up to about 3 m. however, it does have a tendency to overheat at times and burn out the bottom. It also collects ...

Review of Haden Haden
Having a largely stainless steel kitchen i thought this would be the perfect addition. The silver and black seem to complement each other although when you look closely i do think the product looks a little cheap and tacky.
The on and off button can be slightly tempermental through its positioning, its easy to flick the button thinking that its boiling for a lovelly cup of tea whereas its actually flicked back on itself and isnt even getting warm. ... ...kettle i have ever owned, perhaps down to the metal design or even the bottom section. when boiling a cup of tea it does sometimes sound like a train and the sharp popping of the water just starting to boil can be quite alarming. although, saying this, my kitchen is quite small so perhaps this emplifies the noise. perhaps in a larger kitchen this product would not produce the same noise levels.
Like any stainless steel product you must accept that ...

Review of Haden 5300
Advantages: Looks ok and doesn't feel cheap! Disadvantages: Leaks!
Not being a tea or coffee drinker, I don’t use a kettle very much so when my gas hob kettle broke after many years of service I was looking for a more economical one as t’other one used to take an age to boil on the gas and one that blended in to my kitchen without breaking the bank!
This is a steel kettle, predominantly silver in colour with some black. A cordless kettle which sits on a connector base which has a cable length of 0.6m which for ... ...sit on the bench and be plugged in as some other kitchen appliances have cables that are too long and make it look untidy.
The kettle is a good shape, relatively streamline and blended in well with the rest of the new(ish) kitchen. It is easy to fill from either the spout or by pressing a button at the top the lid flips open. The push down ‘on’ switch is near the base of the kettle, just under the handle.
So all was well with the look and the price ...
