Advantages: looks good, fast and nicely designed Disadvantages: quiet loud
just moved address and these sort of things i like to buy new so went shopping and saw this one. nice looking kettle- stainless steel with black plastic handle and lid. the base is rubber that grips well to the surface. As i am left handed and most the other people in my family are right the 360 base that it sits on is handy. there is a water messurer underneath the handle, strange place but shows up well, the switch is also underneath that and has ...

Advantages: sleek, quick and quiet Disadvantages: gets dirty easily
I've had my kenwood kettle for about a month now after finally deciding to shell out and buy one that didn't have 'value' in the name. I'm really glad I bought it, its great- qiuet when boiling, really quick to boil and looks sleek in the kitchen. The only problem is keeping it clean as it really attracts finger marks. Pouring the water is fine but if you are boiling a lot of water you have to keep putting the kettle on a flat surface to check you ... ...it from the spout rather than take the lid of which is a bit tight. The handle is comfortable to hold and pour with. You have the option to purchase a 3 year extended warranty with it which I haven't done yet so I'm hoping it lasts longer thena year! ...

...boring everyday water.
The Kenwood SJ526, hardly the sexiest name I've heard for a domestic appliance has taken pride of place on my kitchen worktop for over 6 months and was presented by my mother in-law as a house warming gift. For £22.99 she had chosen in my opinion the most beautiful and stylish kettle around.
To describe the entire unit as cordless is a little misleading, as there is a need for a power supply and this is directed from the ... ...a new kettle that would look good in a modern kitchen, or to match existing silver or chrome appliances I would strongly recommend the very sexy Kenwood SJ526 to you. It boils water very quickly, looks unique, has a large water capacity, is safe and won't cost you the Earth. ...

...my very own white plastic Kenwood kettle. It is one point seven litre capacity, that's BIG! It boils that amount in about two minutes. Smaller loads take less time. While it boils you can take in the soothing blue-ish light it gives off from its transparent side panels and control lever. Can you take the excitement of watching those bubbles mount to boiling point? Naturally it switches off automatically. What else can I tell you about this miracle ... ...than Kenwood tells you. There are no instructions whatsoever in the box. Maybe you never read instructions anyway, but I do. And they may have saved me from blowing a fuse the first time I used it. Over-full? Over wattage? Who knows? There is a generalised safety leaflet included, but that takes in all their electrical appliances. There is also the registration leaflet with a survey of you and your habits to be filled in, but has anybody actually ...

Advantages: Easy to use, good filter, 360 degree base Disadvantages: Flip top lid
This is a good kettle for the price, it looks good and has a good filter. Very easy to use, it swivells 360 degrees so great if there are both left-handers and right handers in your household like mine!
It doesn't lead and does pour well unlike my last kettle! The only down side is the flip lid. There is a button on the handle you press to lift the lid on the kettle, we found that ours broke after about three months and the lid could no longer close ...
