Philips stainless steel traditional shape kettle
Review of Philips HD4601(F) by
angelwild
Advantages: Looks great and is cordless.
Disadvantages: Can be heavy when full.
I would just like to add once the kettle is full with water it is very heavy, People with wrist problems could not take the weight.
But as the base contains a flat concealed element it allows it to bboil with very little water in. This is good for the environment as it reduces the amount of energy required to boil a cup of water.
It does take longer to boil than a more modern kettle but the looks of the kettle compliment any kitchen.

Not your average kettle
Review of Philips HD4603 by
miggmoggspud
Advantages: It looks gorgeous
Disadvantages: Might not look right in a more traditional kitchen
...was this wonderful product from Philips - a shiny chrome "cube" kettle. Never mind the price, I just had to have it. I didn't care that it was 3100 watts, that it has a concealed element to stop it from scaling or a removable washable filter. I didn't even care that it cost a whopping £45 - eeek! It just looked so gorgeous I had to buy one.
Off we popped to Argos and paid our money. Was it worth it I hear you ask? Do I love it?
The answer is yes, ... ...now know that it has a 1.7 litres capacity and you can boil as little as one cup of water (easily shown by the level indicator on the side). It has a quick boil facility and really does boil a cup of water in seconds. The drawback to this is that it is so powerful it makes a lot of noise which can sometimes drown out the sound of the TV - but I don't care it looks gorgeous! The kettle itself is a chrome cube shape. It has a white handle and base ...

Great buy, love it
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
aditi1985
Advantages: Ideal for warm water and tea
Disadvantages: low capacity, noisy
Bought this dispenser for my mother in law who loves new kitchen appliances and practically buys everything in the market ( although most of it goes to the attic after a couple of days), but not this one. They enjoy their water luke warm, so it saves them the hassle of putting a glass in the microwave every now and then. Also, love its sleak design and look.
Its also great for making teas and coffees, which gets ready at the pop of a button. Its a ...

Tefal Quick cup
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
karismah
Advantages: Hot water in 3 seconds, saves energy.
Disadvantages: Overpriced and sometimes noisy.
The quick cup is a great product, i like that you have instant hot water at a push of a button and that the water tank is still cool to touch.
It is small enough to hide away in your kitchen and the design looks modern, it is easy to fill up the tank and easy to operate.
You don't have to wait around for the kettle to boil, just press the button and make your tea!
The quick cup also gives filtered water at room temperture.
The only negative thing ...

Tefal Quick Cup
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
robo321
Advantages: Fast and economical
Disadvantages: Variable water temperature
The tefal quick cup heats up the water fast but I have found it sometimes to be inconsistent in the temperature of the water, although I think it is still hot enough. The tefal quick cup does occasionally spit the water but it doesn't spill much of the water. I haven't used the room temperature water option so can not comment on it. I like the feature where you can set the quick cup to fill up the exact amount of water and so personalise it to your ...
