Advantages: Perfect size for 2, great for little towns and well-adjusted egos! Disadvantages: Usual drawback of an electric car: short range!

Our El-Jet 3 is 10 years old and built in Denmark, so I can't say if my experiences will pertain to the current model out of Norway (production was moved several years ago, but it is the same company). We acquire this little car second hand from a state agency that had replaced only half of the battery pack - guess they couldn't figure out how to remove the seat to get to the other half, or maybe they just didn't need a short-range car like this anymore. It's simple construction makes troubleshooting any problems quite easy, but those who have never routinely driven an EV that uses flooded lead-acid batteries may want to get some experience with charging and water management.
