Logitech G15 Ultimate Gaming Keyboard
Review of Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard - keyboard by
LotusXyx
Advantages: A plethora of Macro Keys, Windows key lock for gaming time and bright back light.
Disadvantages: Install before use.
After recently purchasing a new PC setup, I decided it was about time to splash out on some serious gaming peripherals for my desktop. I searched around and decided to make my investment in Logitech's formidable G15 Gaming Keyboard. After roughly 4 months of use, I can confidently say, I am impressed! The USB 2.0 port makes for a fast response time while gaming, it is also worth noting for other gamers, that there is a small slide swith to be found ... ...addition to prevent you from inadvertantly dropping from your game to your desktop. The 18 additional buttons to the left, which are fully editable to fit any macro you may want will probe priceless to those who play MMORPGs, such as World of Warcraft, Phantasy Star Online or Star Wars : Galaxies. Not only this, but there is a total of three different setups that can be applied to the 18 macro keys, doubling it's versatiliy. I have found however, ...

Keeping the Prols on Windows and cheap seats
Review of Apple Wireless Keyboard keyboard by
invisigothh
Advantages: Very solid and loverly key action
Disadvantages: Price
The problem with all Apple products (excluding the I pod) is that they are and still remain a cult. It's a club, a minority, and a religion. Like all religious types Apple users have that look in there eyes, you know the one, its that vacant look of the brain washed Christian who knocks on your door and tries to get you to follow a carpenter from Nazareth, or the sparkling eyes of a Buddhist Monk, the ones that look like Moby. Apple computer users ... ...why you should consider the Apple Wireless keyboard for both Imacs and even Windows PC's.
Apple equipment is always expensive, I mean stupidly so. And this in a way makes it a bit exclusive, not in a naff designer label way, but in a high-end quality gear, wired fish kind of way. There is something good about being overcharged for something, which you know is the best quality it can be. The first thing you notice when you get it home is the weight ...

Great features Great looks Poor design
Review of Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 V2 - keyboard , mouse by
fightgear
Advantages: looks nice, nice key features, mouse is accurate
Disadvantages: poor receiver, goes out of sync, bad keyboard layout
A disappointing set by Microsoft.
I bought tis set to complement my new computer and to replace my previous Logitech wireless keyboard. I wish I hadn't. The keyboard looks great and has a load of useful features but its negative points frustrate each time its used.
Firstly, the features of the keyboard such as hot keys, volume, gadget buttons, instant calculator and lock options are great and look and work really well. The mouse is responsive and ... ...keyboard. As mentioned, it does look like a really good combo and the features support that so if that is what is important then you'll be happy.
However, the bad points out number the good points.
The receiver on the desktop has two problems, one is that it is highly sensitive to th state of the batteries in the keyboard and mouse. If your battery starts to lose power you will notice less accuracy when typing. Also you need the keyboard to be ...

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 5000
Review of Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 5000 - keyboard , mouse by
werdoomed
Advantages: No messy wires, looks good
Disadvantages: none
I previously always used logitech keyboards, that is untill i got one of these keyboards. It's a brilliant piece of kit. The moment you open the box you can tell it is well made.
I purchased it from PC World for £45.00, i thought it was quite, expensive but i got it on a special offer for £45.00, should have been £60.00. It was very easy to set up, just pop in the cd and that is that. When it's installed you can change the set-up of the keyboard ...

What's next!? A built in retina scanner!
Review of Microsoft Optical Desktop with Fingerprint Reader - keyboard , mouse by
Markp_00
Advantages: Built in fingerprint reader, tons of shortcut key, comfy!
Disadvantages: Mouse is pretty standard for a wireless optical mouse
...product code etc. and a Microsoft hologram to ensure its authenticity. It has 2 arch shaped feet to raise the back of the keyboard which are also made from the blue plastic and look modern in themselves with their curvy arched design. Its also got 4 navy rubber contact pads to stop scratching on your desk.
Its got a curvy modern design which is pleasing to the eye and goes well with most computers due to the neutral colours.
MOUSE
The mouse is ... ...silver plastic portion is the Microsoft logo and a silver false button with a red target on, which I think is meant to indicate the precision that this mouse can give you. It doesn't look out of place and breaks up the monotony of the the plain silver/blue plastics of the mouse with its glossy chrome finish.
Along the sides of the main raised portion, where you thumb sits on the left and 4th and little finger sit on right (if your right handed) ...
