Yamaha PSR 3000 - A One-man Orchestra..
Review of Yamaha PSR 3000 by derek-j-a

Advantages: A tremendous instrument for the musically minded
Disadvantages: -

...professional and purchased a small Yamaha with Leslie speaker - (a sort of spinning speaker inside a cabinet that produced a rich sound). Because of it's light weight for portability and reasonable prices compared to most other organs, I have stayed loyal to Yamaha ever since. I now own a HE 8 (old technology now, which I will soon be updated no doubt) and a PSR3000 - a 61-key electronic keyboard, which is the focus of this review. What I Like About ...
...styles (explained below) from the Yamaha website - full instructions are included with the keyboard and are also on the Yamaha website (http://music.yamaha.com). When I registered on the site, Yamaha was sending free a USB to LAN adapter necessary for connection. A floppy disk also connects to the USB port so that the user can save his/her sound combinations - for example, piano or any other instrument chosen as lead instruments backed by strings ... Biggin it up
Review of Yamaha DJX by dobieg

Advantages: Easy to get results quickly, great fun
Disadvantages: requires constant button pressing

...propose to review tonight the Yamaha DJX IIB 'beat box' which originally appeared in 1997. The original DJX was a keyboard instrument, which as well as offering the usual multi-voice FM synthesis and rhythm section, the DJX IIB dispensed with the 'ivory end ebony' and concentrated on the percussion side. Describing this unit is a little difficult without a photograph, so I've added one here - it comprises of a plastic box approximately twelve inches ...
...edge are connectors for power in (12V DC - the one I've found works best delivers 1200ma) stereo phono out, MIDI on and out, power switch, quarter inch headphone jack, and a phono-in used to synchronise the internal clock to an audio source. On the front panel, there are more flashing lights and knobs than the bridge of the star ship enterprise. Top left and right are a couple of three inch stereo speakers, these are rated at 4w each, and along ... Read review

Don't take away the music
Review of Yamaha PSR 630 by craiggy_boy

Advantages: Great features, easy to use, quality sound
Disadvantages: None really - although custom style feature a little limited

...time that me and my Yamaha HE2 parted company. So, about 3 year ago now, my dad and I headed down to the local Yamaha dealer to check out the competition. A sad day it were; me and my organ had been together for quite some time, and I was quite sad to see her go … However, when I realised the potential replacements that were on offer, I soon perked up. I have always stuck with Yamaha, right from my very first keyboard at the age of 3 … The facts ...
...vital statistics of the latest Yamaha PSR range. It's worth noting at this point to any potential buyers, that although these CDs are informative and helpful, their content, especially the so called "demonstrations" of the keyboard's capabilities should be taken at face value… Remember that the masterpieces that you hear more or less definitely haven't actually been played; they've been composed on a computer and played through the keyboard in an ... Review of Yamaha PSR-240 by ste231191

Advantages: The Sound Quality, Range of features.
Disadvantages: Not loud enough

...(or most of us know) Yamaha are a great make for musical instruments and the PSR-240 isnt an exeption. The keyboard has a very modern look with a great 4x10 cm screen on it, the range of instruments, the range of styles, the range of built in songs the buttons that help you navagate your way round the keyboard and the numeric keypad next to the screen. The keyboard has 36 white keys and 25 black keys. ( I dont know whether this is good because I ...

Hee Haw
Review of Yamaha PSR 340 by Nar

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: none

Hello and welcome to the review that should have been here. It was here but its not here now as I have taken it and put it into my private stash somewhere else. It may well appear somewhere else online and if it does it will have my name on it. Thank you to everyone, to all the people in my COT over the years who have stuck by me and who have been great influences over the reviews I have written. It is indeed a sad case that reviewers have to come ...
...sense at all when the original content should be listed and frankly because of endless problems with Ciao I no longer have the time and energy to carry on. Each time I tried, it didn't work. Each message I sent to other members, they didn't appear. Each rate I applied, it didn't show. So that's the end of it. Ty for reading. ... Read review
