Keysonic ACK-540 RF Wireless Mini-Keyboard

Advantages: Small and light, touchpad, great range, good keys
Disadvantages: Numpad operation fiddly, tacky mouse buttons and a little flimsy for some

It's a bit creaky and cheaply built but the range is excellent as it battery life. There aren't many keyboards with a built in mouse pad so you don't need a mouse as well for armchair surfing and emails. The Mouse buttons have a horrible click to them but the keys are pretty good. Very small keyboard so great for storage. Uses 4 AAA batteries. The USB dongle is a little on the large side so rear mount is preferrable unless you have health insurance. Sometimes when it switches on pressing any key) the numpad is on by default. Press FN (bottom left) and NumLK (top right) to disable. It takes a bit of getting used to that the key in the bottom left is not CTRL but the FN key but not a major problem. At about £20 it's a good buy I'd say. ...

Keysonic ACK- 540 RF

Advantages: Sleek, stylish, easy to use
Disadvantages: scrool part of touch pad a little too sensitive

After using this product for the best part of a year, i think it is only right to write a review. There are no major problems with this product, yet it does not stand out as one of the best in the market. It has a great range of use, being able to be used upto ten metres away from the sensor. As for spywade's problem above, i experinced this, but by simply holding down the ''FN'' button and pressing num lock, you can turn this off, and switch to letter mode, meaning that the letters show instead of the numbers. It is stylish and sleek, and doesn't look ghastly at all. The numbers do tend to fall off a little easy, but it is a simple case of putting them back into place. The battery life lasts a tidy time, helped by the feature of automatic shut off after ten minutes of non-use. The touchpad works well, and is not too sensitive, but is ...

Perfect for media center pc

Advantages: Small light Range Touchpad
Disadvantages: battery life

Bought this Keyboard a couple of month back so i could lay in bed while having my pc on my HD TV. The ketboard its self is styled to look like a laptop keyboard with the touchpad and 2 buttonsat the bottom middle part of the board.on the side of the touch pad there is a scroll function, this is very useful for browsing text documents etc. The distance this keyboard is excellent because it uses the 802.11 protocol just liek wireless it is one of the best available and for the price of £28 you cant go wrong. It is perfect for media center pcs because you dont need a mouse or keyboard when you have this little gizmo. There is only 2 minor problems with this keyboard: 1. Batterys dont seem to last very long in this it uses 4 AAA's 2.When i start my computer the keyboard automatically is set with the numlock on this means that some ...
