Having just read the review on 'Baby Tad', I thought I'd share my thoughts on the next stage - Little Leap.
Little Leap is for kids aged 2+ and has an interactive tummy covered in the alphabet. Not only does it teach the alphabet but also teaches colours, numbers and manners. All the letters of the alphabet and numbers are different colours with the alphabet on the tummy and the numbers on the fingers. It has a cute little voice and offers game options as follows.
* Hide and Seek - this is where the child has to find a particular coloured letter with the help of clues from Little Leap.
* Learn about manners - Little Leap asks you to remind him if he forgets to say, 'please' when asking you to find particular letters.
*Sing-a-long - Little Leap sings a number song and an alphabet song but stops at a letter or number and asks ...
Advantages: Great learning tool Disadvantages: None
the alphabet and numbers as well as shapes and colors it really covers all round skills vital in babies development.
Durability + Storage
---------------------------
This is not the most durable product but can take a whack against walls extra when walking. My boy recently managed to pull off the butterfly wings and put a crack in the frame by throwing it down the stairs missing me by about 3 inches lol.
This damage has been caused in the extreme but I have to mention it as most kid's throw stuff about at some stage or another. The walker is easy to store as you can remove the rear stand and it goes flat allowing for storing in a cupboard easily however my son was always on it so no need to store it.
Cleaning + Safety
------------------------
Best kept away from anything messy as there are many little nooks and crannies for dirt to get ...
Advantages: keeps them still for half an hour Disadvantages: too small after a while
having managed to buy this donut from ebay for £15 it was a great way to stop my crawling baby getting into everything for a short time while me and my partner managed to get some housework done.
this comes with a cover that is machine washable and will stay inflated for around 2 weeks before having to pump it up again.
the retail price varies from £25-£45 in the high street, its handy if your child has started sitting up but cant quite keep there balance all you have to do is throw in some teddies or toys and it will keep the little monsters at bay for a while.
but be warned your child might become irratated after a while when they feel the need to have more space and then its a case of throwing it away to collect dust in the cupboard.
but dont freat there is another use for it if u have pets our kid has come to that stage already ...
