Review of "Kinect Adventures (Xbox 360)"
About a month ago, we got an Xbox kinect console (which came with Kinect adventures). I was really impressed how well the movement sensory was incorporated into the game. The sensor sees you and then converts you to a cute cartoon character on the screen. After playing for about half an hour, I was already tired, but was actually having fun. There are five different games: River Rafting, Rally ball, Shark Tank, Space Bubbles and the Obstacle Course. They start out pretty easy, but get harder and harder the higher the level. The game comes with 3 levels and several adventures to a level. One of my favorite features is the Motion Snapshot. During each game, the kinect sensor will take funny pictures of you in really awkward positions while you are trying to plug a leak or swat away balls. This is especially fun with 2 people. The only down sides of this game are the fact that you can only have two players at a time and that the five games can get pretty boring after 2 hours. I also would have liked more creativity with the games. After you finish all the levels and adventures, the only thing you can do is to go back and play the same exact thin over again. A one on one two player versus would have been fun. Overall, it was a fun and when I had friends over, they really enjoyed the game! Fun and original!
