Razors are a rip off and that is the price as well as the damage they do to my skin when I'm using the damn things. The disposables are a kin to cutting your own throat with a very blunt knife so one has to use the changeable blade type. The original razor is cheap or even free thru' the door then you go to buy some blades and damn i need anew mortgage. This might not be too bad if you can shave a couple of times a week but I have to shave daily so it gets bloody expensive. Even with the expensive blades shaving is still a pain in the neck. Although shaving in the shower makes it more comfortable but it is blind so there tends to be patches to re do later. The other option is a beard but that makes me look old so it is a no go area any more. ...

The face scrub is a thick, matte, cream that is "putty" in colour, but is light enough to be squeezed from the tube in which it is packaged. where the blade sits at quite a sharp angle back from the handle. With the Azor, the blade sits at only a very shallow angle away from the handle. This takes a bit of getting used to initially. This effect is also magnified by another key difference between the two blades. The Mach 3 blade sits on a flexible hinge allowing some flexibility of movement. The Azor is a fixed blade. This is not a problem when shaving the large flat areas of the face, the cheeks for instance - in fact I would argue the firmer Azor actually does a better job of this. The fixed blade becomes slightly more troublesome when shaving the trickier parts of the face - the corner of the jaw is a good example.
