Advantages: Works! Great Size screen! Play ps2/connect freeview! Disadvantages: requires loads of batteries
I personally have a kingavon portable tv, it came with a car lighter charging socket, a stand, its own DC adaptor (so you can use mains power) and optional headphones.
I have been using this product for some time and im pleased with it, its around 5" and is great quality, much better than smaller portable tvs.
I have also played PS2 on this as it has a special type of AV connection; (meaning you can plug in virtually anything, ... ...this worked immediately with the kingavon tv.
The arial provided is also great, i guess it depends on your location though, but i have never had to even extend it to get good picture tv.
It shows channels 1-5 (unless you connect it to freeview etc)
It also has an autotune! so it will find channels for you...It has something like 70 channels!

I have been using this product for some time and im pleased with it, its around 5" and is great quality, much better than smaller portable tvs. I have also played PS2 on this as it has a special type of AV connection; (meaning you can plug in virtually anything, from a dvd player to a doggy box!) the screen was good for some games, but i found that the contrast was not good for dark images so i kept having to change it according to the game. It comes with a remote (which i dont have) but includes all necessary buttons on the top, such as channel +/- volume +/- menu (to change contrast etc) and AV. Today i tried my universal remote (can be bought for a pound now!) and this worked immediately with the kingavon tv. ~ My review so far has been fairly positive, that is because im pleased with the product. However...this tv requires something like 8AA batteries to be portable! My Screen has also slightly moved back at the top, so i need to keep it slanted in order to see a good image (however this is easy due to its inbuilt (picture frame like) stand at the back (not the car stand shown on the pic) The screen being out of place is my fault though for being wreckless with it. It does seem to heat quite a bit at around 2 hours of usage, but this is normal for all portable tvs i have noticed. I have not had any other problems with this product and it deffeintly suits its perpose as a spare tv to hide under the covers.
You can see from the picture the side contains its inbuilt speaker, this is a great speaker and can go really loud, however it is only on one side so the sound tends to go away from you!, (unless you cup your hand round the speaker!) However with a good pair of headphones you will get your required 3d sound effects with the tv. I bought mine for a bit less than £50. For this product i think that amount of money is great. If you are going to spend around 100 pounds then dont get this product, get something with inbuilt freeview! This is great as a additional resource, it cannot replace television, and in my opinion is a bit bulky for use in a car. However if you cannot afford a thing tv this Kingavon LCD tv monitor is GREAT!
