Kingston 50X Elite PRO Compact Flash 2048 MB

...I've been into digital photography for a while now (around 6 years) and have seen in grow from the high end being 1.2 MP to what is is today (some in excess of 32 MP). Back in the day (a Wednesday in fact), my trusty 64 MB card got me by soundly. This is not the case anymore as I am the proud owner and operator of a Canon EOS XT Digital Rebel 6.0MP. I recently bought one of Kingston's 2GB flash cards and have been incredibly pleased with my results and experience overall. It is a very fast card and the extra space is a must. The X-speed on this Compact flash card as well as on all Kingston flash cards determines the writing speed of the card. The writing speed is simply the time taken for a file or files to be copied onto the memory card. The write speed determines the overall performance of the compact flash card. So the higher the write or X-speed the better the performance of the memory card. The X-speed for the Kingston HI Speed Elite PRO Compact Flash 4096 MB card is 133x. ...The kingston 2 gb disk is essentially just that and nothing more, the disk works just as it should and is very easy to use just simply plug in and go, there no new installations on your computer or on your SD compatable hardware just put the disk in and ready to take photos or store whatever you want on there. It can take anything the 2 Gb is equivalent to 500 songs and the same number of 8 mega pixel photos, should you have a camera that good otherwise it can hold many more normal pixel photos. The other good points about this product are that you can simply flick a switch and all your data and photos etc is secure which means that you could be editing a photo on photoshop and your computer crashes but the information is still secure on the Kingston. When using it I also found that it worked very smoothly with all my software packages... Read review
