Advantages: Compact, fast, reliable Disadvantages: Lack of transportation strap
I remember when USBflashdrives hit the market a few years back when you could fit a staggering 16Mb worth of data on a device the size of your middle finger. Since then capacity has increased and prices have decreased at an alarming rate. For example you can now get 4Gbflashdrives for cheaper than the original 16Mb drives which represents great value for money.
--Whats in the box --
Contents of the box are minimalistic to say the least, there is the drive itself and a little strap which you can then use to attach the drive to your belt/keyring, etc. This device really is plug and play in its simplest form, there arent even any instructions supplied with it, mainly because none are required.

Plugging the drive into a spare USB slot will give you an extra drive in Windows Explorer (My Computer) typically F ...
Advantages: Speed of small transfers Disadvantages: No ReadyBoost, feels cheap
Hi today I will be reviewing a KingstonDataTravler 2GBUSBFlashDrive. I bought this a few months ago after losing my other flashdrive. It cost me 9.97 from PC World but I believe you can get them cheaper in other places.
Speed
For the data that I transfer to it i.e. pictures and some small visual basic programs it transfers them extremely quick compared to some cheap flashdrives I have used in the past.
Problems
So far I have had no major problems other than in windows vista it is not capable of running ReadyBoost which a free flashdrive I had a while ago could.
Size
The overall size of the flashdrive is quiet good the USB connector slides in and out with a rather flimsy press and slide switch.
Feel
The Kingston feels rather cheap and plastic considering the price I paid for it anyway.
Over all this is not a bad ...
Advantages: Universally accepted MAC or PC, Small Size but Massive Capacity Disadvantages: Only Comes In White!!
I have searched for a decent USB pen drive, which not only works well with both my Mac and Windows computers, and after a few disappointing Ebay buys I found the KingstonDataTraveller. At prices from £10 for a massive 1GBdrive this has to be the bargain pen drive for every student or office worker out there.
To start with it is simple plug and play with both Mac and Windows makes this drive so easy to use. Just plug it into your USBdrive (both USB1.0 and 2.0) and the drive instantly starts working, no drivers or downloads needed. It comes in many capacitys but i choose the 1GB version. Although actual size is just under a GB (as with all flashdrives) it is still a huge amount of data. If all you need to transfer is documents then this will never ever fill up!
The best aspect of this pen drive however is it easily works with both ...
