Advantages: No formatting, reliable, stable Disadvantages: None
...Different to most of the reviews on here I bought my Kingston secure digital card for my Ipaq. I use the Windows Mobile 5 based HX2490 with a few extra applications which I have downloaded to manage my appointments and my finance.
The memory card seems very stable and I had no problems putting software on it. It did not need any formatting before I loaded any information to it, and it has vastly improved the performance of my Ipaq. It's amazing the difference a mamory card with alot of space on can make to the performance of a PDA!
The brand name has been around for a while now, but is maybe not as well known as other electronics companies, but from my experience I would be happy to buy a Kingston product again....

Lexar Review Review ofLexar Micro-SD Secure Digital 512MBby

Advantages: Great ease of installation Disadvantages: Doesnt quite do the job needed.
...Lexar is a good company however to recieve the best a MicroSD card has to offer you are better off getting the Kingston MicroSD brand as they are faster and cheaper!!!
For ranking purposes I would rank lexar not as good as its competitors but the company is always improving.
I personally would recommend a kingston branded card instead of the lexar you are currently viewing on your screens.
Durability wise Lexar is more than worth but for write speeds and other such needs I would recommend a kingston.
The error rate of this card is fairly low however I would lastly recommend only using the card for 15-30 mins at a time.
This is because the performance of the lexar cards have been known to drop drastically....

Advantages: Cheap and Does The Job Disadvantages: rge price variation between brands
...the data transfer rate, not something a normal person would do, and it is approximately 100 kb/s. This means that it takes 10 seconds to transfer a megabyte of data from the slot on my computer to the hard drive. The amount of memory an average image takes up on my camera is 0.5MB so this card can store approximately 1024 pictures, which meats that I am unlikely to need another one.
The price variation in SD cards is quite daunting, and I am not sure if there is any real advantage in buying branded cards, such as Sony or Fuji. I went for this Kingston card as it was the cheapest in the shop, and I strongly recommend that you do a little shopping round when you purchase any memory card....
