Kingston memory - 256 MB - DIMM 168-PIN - SDRAM

Nervous upgrade!

Advantages: Guaranteed , excellent help with choosing, superb service
Disadvantages: None

RAM it is. I buy a book and read some magazines and look on the internet. (Going to shops was frightening - apart from feeling stupid, the price can be off-putting). There are millions of them!!! How do I know what to buy? How many MB can the PC take? How much is in? What speed? Is it SDRAM, SODIMM, DDR etc? All I know is that I need more!!! Help! Then I found www.crucial.com and it all became clear (well, simple is a better word). You feed in your PC details and they tell you what was in it originally. Not only that, but they also give you a list of memory sticks (getting technical now!) that are guaranteed to be compatible and also guaranteed for life. Advantages: Good price, neat design, reliable, excellent capacity and great performance.
Disadvantages: You will want to buy more due to its performance and reliability.
