Before buying a RAM we know some things.RAM will be some kind DDR,DDR2.DDR3 ... are some of them i know and each RAM will have some specific bus speed if bus speed of mother board and RAM does not match then RAM will not work so at the buying please the speed , for this Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 1 GB PC2700 speed is 333MHz. How a days all mother board coming with bus speed of 533MHz or even more and they are computable with DDR2 RAM which are more faster than DDR RAM so at time ...

Advantages: good price and value. Good brand
Disadvantages: Not the fastest around.

the step by step picture instructions included with the product. If you run into any trouble then use their online site or forums which are very helpful. Make sure you refer to the manual your computer/motherboard came with however as it will let you know where to install the RAM If installing two or more pieces of RAM, or adding this to a currently installed stick, then make sure it is rated for the same speeds and has same specs. It is not recommended to mix speeds although it can be done... Here are the specifications for this for people interested in technical stuff :) : 512MB DIMM 184 PIN Upgrade type is Generic It is DDR SDRAM It is NON ECC Its CAS Latency is CL2 Supply voltage is 2.5v DO NOT WORRY! Advantages: easy to install, works on most systems and fantastic low price
Disadvantages: doesn't like too much static so be careful
