I don't usually buy chocolate bars, opting for nut bars instead. However, today I wanted something that I described as 'chunky chocolate', and there it was.
Kit Kat Chunky was exactly that - chunky with loads of chocolate. The chocolate layer is truly generous, and, though it was cheaper than a regular Kit Kat, it definately felt more filling. Not particularly subtle - just loads of wafer and chocolate to satisfy sweet cravings. It reminded me of these chocolate indulgence cakes, that I would only consider buying if I really really felt like having obscene amounts of chocolate. Flavour..what flavour?
I would not normally choose it, but it was satisfying. I prefer Kit Kats, because they have a more pleasant shape, are fun to break, easy to share...and just don't stuff your mouth. Not very healthy.
The wrapping contained the typical Kit Kat logo and colour scheme, which I think are rather tasteful. However, the 'chunky' bit had an addition of blue and looked flashy, screaming, which I believe ruined the overall look.
I paid around 45p at Costcutters, which I think is rather good value for money.
