Kitchen Aid - there could be no better discription for this item. I've had one now for over two years, and I've used it alot. I use it frequently, I know of no other machine that can make mayonaise, meringues, mash potatoes and do a whole host of other things so simply. We first got to know about KitchenAid via Nigella, and being bit kitchen gadgety, we wanted one - but they aren't cheap. They are usually over £200. This is the best kitchen appliance i have ever bought. It has all of the capabilities to mix, blend, knead, whip, stir, and lots of other things all in one simple, easy-to-use machine. I have made over 700 muffins in one batch!! It has many affordable attachments, like a strainer, or juicer. I currently own the can opener attachment, made of all metal construction. I can gurantee it will be the last can opener you buy. That's the other great thing about the kitcheaid mixer - you can leave it out on your counter!
