good performance
Advantages: easy to clean, store is easy very practical Disadvantages: cable isnt too long but not an issue
I received one of these for my birthday as my girlfriend and i love cooking and keep a modern kitchen, the item is practical, easy to clean, makes little mess due to the size of the mixing bowl, easy controls on the speen so cant complain at all, not expensive, so for those wanting to practice pastry baking at home this is ideal,
The lead itself isnt long if you have a large kitchen with few sockets, but works perfect in mine, come with a selection ...

Kenwood Chef, Excelent!
Advantages: Great mixer, goten us to do a lot more baking. Disadvantages: Addtional attachments a little on the expensive side
I’ve found this product to make an excellent addition to our kitchen, certainty made us do a lot more home baking and be a little bit more adventurous in our cooking.
It’s very easy to use and has mixed a variety of breads, cakes, and batters all brilliantly.
It arrived with 3 mixing attachments;
The “K” beater attachment; great for cakes
A whisk attachment, has made good batters and egg whites
And a dough hook; which has seen a lot of use and ... ...we have used to make simple soups, and drinks.
I have found it very easy to keep clean, particularly the blender attachment which comes apart for easy cleaning, certainly a lot better than our previous blender!
Also included was a 160+ page colour recipe book, which had some good basic recipes.
Perhaps one minor let down is it dose include some recipes that call for additional attachments which of course cost extra.
All of the parts seem well ...

Kenwood Major - Rugged and Reliable, Great for Bread.
Advantages: rugged and powerful, big capacity. Disadvantages: need to stop mixing and scrap bowl sides to ensure thorough mix.
...years I have used the Kenwood to mix 2 - 3 loaves of bread, which is heavy work. I have not had any problems, in fact, I love using this machine. It is much quieter than then older Kenwoods and more power than you could ever want. The mixer will stay put when mixing a single loaf, but tends to 'walk' around the benchtop when mixing a double loaf., so watch it. The only problem with this type of planetary mixer (kitchenaid is also a planetary mixer) ... ...try and overcome this problem Kenwood have introduced a rubber coated mixing paddle which is designed to scrap the sides of the mixing bowl as it goes. My experience is that this is an improvement but certainly not perfect. The Sunbeam Mixer from Australia is much easier to use in this respect as you can easily scrape the mixing bowl while it mixes. However, for bread, think the Kenwood is a better system. ...

Head Chef
Advantages: Reliable, versatile, good-looking Disadvantages: Price, possibly more than you need
...to any kitchen.
The Kenwood Chef has not changed a great deal over the years. There's a 30 year-old one in my family which is not very different from mine, give or take the colour, some new curves and re-designed accessory fittings. And that one is still going strong, having only had one small repair in that time. Not only does it look good, it's going to be with you for years. The build quality is excellent, everything about it feels solid, well-engineered ... ...stainless steel bowl, blender, beater, whisk, dough-hook, spatula and a nice glossy recipe book. There are many other accessories you can buy separately: pasta maker (2 types), slicer and shredder (2 types), mincer, juice extractor, citrus press, grain mill, multi-mill, potato peeler, ice-cream maker. The mixer lifts back on a hinge, giving access to the socket for the beater, whisk and dough hook. On top of the machine there is a high-speed outlet ...

Kenwood Major - A major success
Advantages: Large bowl, pulse capability, bowl cover Disadvantages: Bowl cover is not very strong.
Q: Kenwood Major or Kenwood Chef? A: It depends on your needs! Advantages of the Major over the Chef: - Larger bowl makes large mixing possible, less messy and easier (6.7L over 4.6L) - Flexible beater included Although that may seem like a very small difference for such a difference in price, for me, it is well worth it. When baking or mixing something for large quantities the Major gives me the capacity that the Chef would struggle with. As with ... ...up whether to get a Kenwood over another brand I would suggest the Kenwood for a number of reasons. Kenwood have been making these for decades and that has to count for something. The experience Kenwood has gives them an excellent reputation and rightly so. The build quality of these are tremendous, second to no other brand I have come across so far. I believe that Kenwood will continue to make these for decades to come giving you the piece of mind ...
