Love this bad boy!
Review of KitchenAid KSM150 BNK Artisan by marilynmonroelike

Advantages: So easy to use, powerful yet gentle when required.
Disadvantages: The price but you are getting the BEST.

This was a present to myself at xmas and WOW its far better than I ever imagined! Its so powerful yet can be turned to the minimum setting and its gentle as your own finger tips - I have made everything from shortcrust pasty ( amazing!) to heavy duty bread dough - the folding hook ROCKS. The price is painful but this is the rolls royce of mixers and to me it has been worth every penny :) I love it! The style is classic retro and fits perfectly into ...
...on the buttermilk cream which is lovely. The anti spill chute attachment is very handy meaning I can pour in the ingredients without spilling them and when i purchased mine I also got a free mincer so shop around for special offers. To use it really could not be simpler ....you pull the lever on the side and the main body lifts up and locks into the upright position.....the hook slips into the hole - you turn it and you can actually feel it lock ... King of the Kitchen Machines
Review of Kenwood KM 010 Titanium CHEF by Rabbitgirl

Advantages: It's a Kenwood!
Disadvantages: Expensive and some might find it heavy

...one would expect from the Kenwood brand this machine is a joy to have in the kitchen. Previously I just had a Kenwood Food Processor (now 12 years old but still working perfectly having been passed on to my brother) but really needed a mixer as well because I love to make cakes. Now I can churn out cake after cake with ease - much to the enjoyment of my children! My husband found this on offer in House of Fraser but ordered it from Amazon as the ...
...and efficiently with the famous Kenwood "planetary" action. The first thing I made was a banana & walnut loaf - the mix was perfect in just seconds with this machine where I used to take ages mixing everything by hand. The mix for a victoria sponge cake came out lovely; light and fluffy - and very quick! The liquidiser is big and solid and I've made some lovely smoothies - loved by the children. The food processor works just as well as my old "separate" ... Read review

MOTHER'S LITTLE HELPER!
Review of KitchenAid KSM150 BNK Artisan by Louizalass

Advantages: Sturdy, comes with good range of starter-attachments
Disadvantages: Expensive but will last a very, very long time

...I was given my KitchenAid Artisan mixer as a gift from my daughter who lives in the States. We went together and chose it from a fabulous shop called Bed, Bath & Beyond at the Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix, Arizona. Obviously, that makes it extra-special to me, but you could buy yours from some of the bigger department and household goods stores. My KitchenAid is matte black and very swish. Because it is an American-bought appliance it came with ...
...presents no problem. The KitchenAid Artisan: The legendary tool of generations of cooks and bakers, the KitchenAid is endlessly versatile, easy to use and clean afterwards. The appliance is very heavy, robust, stable and durable. No shuggling around on the kitchen worktop. The stand mixer I have had the following attachments included and this would seem to be pretty much standard in the UK : 4.5 Qt. Stainless Steel Bowl with handle Flat Beater ... Read review

Solamarie has gone baking mad!
Review of KitchenAid K45SS Classic by solamarie

Advantages: Easy, quick, clean, professional looking cakes, biscuites and bread.
Disadvantages: Heavy, otherwise none.

My history and why I wanted one of these* When I was young and life was fun I had a friend who had a food mixer sitting on her worktop at all times, she used it several times a week and made the most wonderful cakes, breads and pastries with it. Oh I coveted that food mixer as I made the above by hand creaming, whisking, beating and kneading. The trouble was that it was out of my price range and on top of that I didn’t have enough worktop space ...
...years I have bought many kitchen gadgets that are supposed to make things easier and quicker and the more hours I have worked the more gadgets I have bought. Without the space to keep these things out what happens is I use them, clean them and put them in the cupboard, and there they stay…and stay…and stay! So what changed? A new kitchen! I have this wondrous thing, all shiny and new. The mess it made in the making had to be seen to be believed. ... Read review

Craftmanship for a creative cook
Review of KitchenAid KSM150 BNK Artisan by ironie

Advantages: wil last forever, beautifully crafted, reliable, stylish
Disadvantages: expensive initial outlay

...unable to be resuscitated. The KitchenAid KSM150 BWH Artisan Food Mixer was to be the replacement. This mixer doesn’t look anything special to anyone not in the know. It looks old-fashioned although maybe retro is a more suitable term and it is quite bulky. She first saw this mixer when Nigella Lawson was using it in a cookery programme and it obviously caught her eye. I’ll explain this machine roughly as she explained it to me. The Artisan is ...
...There is a complete KitchenAid Artisan range that is made with the same attention to detail. The whole range is available in the same 10 colours as the mixer and the range includes a blender, toaster, espresso maker, burr grinder and food processor. All of the products have the same tactile, 'retro' styling, with solid knobs, buttons and smooth curved lines We don’t own any of the other KitchenAid appliances but we do own most of the attachments ...
