Don't even go there!!!

Advantages: only to MFi - who made tons of money out of us
Disadvantages: this kitchen installation was a nightmare experience - not recomended

At the point of sale we were deceived; we asked if we could just have the work tops cut and we wanted to do the installation of the units ourselves, as my husband said he didn't want the kitchen units hacked about. We were told It was not possible to do this and we were assured that there would definitely not be any hacking about, the sales woman ...
...securely fixed, etc etc etc MFI agreed to supply numerous replacement units, but we refused to let the installers back to have another go at installing them. In the end it was necessary to take out the entire kitchen, apart from 4 wall cupboards, and re fit the entire kitchen ourseleves. Disadvantages: Kitchen will not be delivered and MFI will try to keep some of your money

In May this year (2007) my wife and I visited the MFI store in Leamington Spa to look for a new kitchen. We'd been to a number of other stores and had yet to see a kitchen that we both liked. After a good browse around the store we finally agreed that we both liked a kitchen called the 'Callisto'. I bought a door for a kitchen unit from B & Q Glasgow on the 6th november, as I was intending to buy a complete kichen and wished to compare the colour with a unit I already had, the price was £15. GLK is just another horrible kitchen company! Watch out!

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: irresponsive, irresponsible, poor time management, damage everything that you have planned for

GLK is the worst company that I have ever dealt with! The owner and the company’s correspondence, Mr. Stephen (Steve) Harding, is just a scum, who never respond to phone calls and voicemails once he has got your money. He would just assume that you have been hypnotised and forgotten about the order will be delivered on the agreed date, as a result of this, you will sit at home all day waiting for nothing, and Steve Harding would not bother to report ...
