...product. I purchased The Franke Opera Designer Pack from an on-line store. This comprises a Davos tap in silk steel finish and Opera sink (which is described as having a silk finish). However, now they are installed in my kitchen, I am very disappointed as in my opinion the two finishes do not appear to go together at all - the coating on tap does not match the stainless steel sink. Other people seeing my new kitchen have said the same (without prompting) ... ..."the Silksteel finish of a Franke tap will compliment a Silk stainless steel sink but will not match it." Clearly this is about personal taste but I did interpret the Franke descriptions and images as meaning that there would be a similarity in the look of the two products. I had a Franke stainless steel sink installed in my new kitchen. With the first use it scratched. I had only washed cups and a teaspoon, put them on the drainer and when I had finished drying up I saw that the drainer was all scratched. The Franke label was still in place, that's how new it was. On inspecting the sink the next morning that was also badly scratched and had rust specs in the bottom. Some of the scratches were quite deep considering ...
