First off, i'll tell you a little about myself. I am a full-time university student who started building a Kleeneze business three months ago because I was made redundant from my previous job and was struggling to pay the bills, pay for travel to university, pay rent etc and was finding it difficult to find other employment that would fit around my studies - it seemed as though a lot of employers didn't want to people that weren't flexible.
I paid £134.00 to join Kleeneze. You can pay as little as £75.00, but I wanted more catalogues to give myself the best chance possible. I did think this was quite expensive at the time, but I made a £244 profit in my first month doing just 10 to 12 hours per week. I have made a profit every month since. In my second month, I signed up two people (both friends who were also struggling for work due to being students) and put more catalogues out taking it to 12 - 15 hours a week. My income grew.
In my opinion, the only problem with this business is that people blame it for their own laziness. If you do not do the hard part (putting the catalogues out, fetching them in etc) then you will not recieve the rewards, and there are plenty of people out there who do not do the work and then blame the system. This system isn't for everyone because you're in business for yourself... there is no boss to get on your back when you do nothing. Would you get paid for doing nothing in a job where you had a boss?
I've seen my cheques, the cheques of my upline and the cheques of the people i've just recruited and so far nobody has made a loss on the starting fee, and their incomes have increased over time. Everyone I know has earned back their catalogue fees in the first month and made a profit every month.
As for the extra rewards like company cars, trips etc... they are just as accessible to one member of the team as another. They are rewarded as a response to the figures that you achieve and not as the result of favouritism. I've been in the business 3 months and i'm aiming to qualify for the trip this autumn - and it's looking good! Also, I earned a bonus in my first month of £83.00 paid by kleeneze in addition to my commission. I have since achieved a bonus every month so far. Thus, even new people can earn a bonus.
Furthermore, in my area there are 3 distributors - my sponsor, me and one of the people i've signed up and we're all doing just fine. There are PLENTY of houses. My sponsor, for example, only actually visits 250 of about 7000 houses over 4 weeks, and I probably visit 1000 at the most over a period of 4 weeks. I do not feel that the market is over saturated.
I should also mention the level of support i've actually received. The service centre is second to none and I can call most of the time and will get a response without being put on hold for ages. There is a newsletter each week, there are meetings all the time, you get company news and incentives all the time sent to your email if you have one. There is a conference held in Birmingham at the arena and this is HUGE, a real moral booster and I have my tickets to go in a few weeks. Plus, I know that I can count on my sponsor, and my sponsor's sponsors and their sponsors to help me at any given time.
In how many other companies do you interact so closely with the people above you?
Since i've started, i've made a lot of good friends. I go to meetings once a week at one of my fellow-distributor's houses and we chat about the business and then just have a social chat as well. This is optional and free. I've also made friends with my customers and i'm often invited in for a drink on my rounds. I also have much more free time because I choose my own hours, I choose when I go to work, I choose if I want a day off etc. This is great when I have exams, or book a holiday!
Nevertheless, at the end of the day, Kleeneze is like any other company. Not everybody will enjoy being part of it, and those people will quit. This happens in other industries and companies, and Kleeneze is not an exception to this rule.
Advantages: Great for students, housewives and anyone really who would like extra cash. It can work around your full time job. It is up to you how many hours you work and what days you work. Disadvantages: The only disadvantage is you have to distribute and collect the catalogues. Sometimes it is hard getting them back and quite frustrating.
...I do the majority of Kleeneze at work and only deliver some of the catalogues to houses so it isn't too bad. She also gave me a computer disc with a template for your 'welcome' labels and 'sorry i missed you' labels, so that's extra help for me too. Even though you don't know the people who order off you at first, you do after you have been there a few times, people do still order off you, it is unbelievable! When you place an order with Kleeneze, ... ...way to earn some extra money. After doing Kleeneze for two weeks I have placed my first order for over £200, so it does work if you are willing to do the work. You can work Kleeneze around your job, I have found it a great money maker. ...

...working for a company called Kleeneze for a while and we'd bought quite a few things off him over the years. He kept telling my husband that we should sign up and start working for them. I always refused as I really didn't fancy selling door to door but the more he told us about the job, the more interested I became.
For those of you who haven't heard of this company it is similar to Betterware. The best way to make more money in jobs like this however is to recruit other people, this way you get a percentage of their earnings and if they recruit someone else you get a small percentage ...

So what is Kleeneze?

Kleeneze sells over 1200 products ranging from cleaning proucts and household items to items for the garden and the home. All the products have a reasonable price tag and are of high quality.

...an honest overview of the Kleeneze business.
I am not in the business now. However I have tried it twice in the past 8 years or so.
With Kleeneze you can as is claimed earn around £50 a week fairly easily. Even earnings around £450 a month are acheivable, with a degree of hard work and effort.
Do not be misled by or attracted to the free holidays and cars. There are different costs to start up. When I was in the basic pack was £50 (50 catalogue packs)....this is a waste of money, you should start with either £100(100 packs) or £150 (150 packs) The reason being if you "drop" an average 100 catalogue packs you will get an average £100 in ...

Advantages: home delivery and loads of good ideas Disadvantages: expensive
...but at what price?
Kleeneze is a franchise company that sells cleaning products and other useful (or not) items for the home. Imagine a gadget that you could do with for round the house and the chances are they will sell it.
Catalogues are delivered to your door by franchise owners generally with a request that you place the catalogue back outside your door, hopefully with an order, within a couple of days so that it can be collected. Collectors ... ...is that there are three Kleeneze franchises all serving our road which means that we get a catalogue about once a week. On the occasions that you get two in the same week it can be confusing as to which one to leave out. Competition is fierce between franchise owners and this can be annoying although you can "opt out" by ticking a box on the order form which should ensure that you are not delivered to next time.
So, what do they sell? Everything ...

Advantages: The best cleaning / stain removing product I have come across. Disadvantages: Difficult to find in shops.
I first came across this product 10 years ago. I moved in to a newly built house which had a white kitchen sink and drainer (so glad, I've moved and got a stainless steel one now) but this used to stain terribly and I tried all sorts of products.
I happened upon the Bar Keeper's Friend while flicking through one of those home product catalogues that are put through your letter box, it's so many moons ago that I can't remember whether it was Kleeneze or Bettaware or some such other.
Anyway, I digress..................if you haven't used this then you really must try it out, it is brilliant stuff although the name is a little odd!

Advantages: sparkling clean in seconds Disadvantages: need a Kleeneze distributer to buy it
Many public sector properties ( and probably others) now have window and door frames made of uPVC. There are great advantages i.e. no need to re-paint, frames cannot rot etc but after a few years they can become dingy and dull
I bought a former council flat 5 years ago and whenever I cleaned the windows ( which I admit was never that frequent!) the frames continued to look on the grey side. Soapy water and other cleaning products removed the surface dirt but never really improved the overall appearance
Then I ame home and found found a Kleenezecatalogue on my doormat one day, a few months ago. Kleeneze are a company that distribute cleaning products, and lots of other things, through local agents who are effectively self employed distributers. I'd seen the catalogues before and flicking through saw this uPVC restorer advertised ...

Advantages: Home Delivered, Shifts Stubborn Stains Disadvantages: None its Brilliant
I am a kleeneze distributor and this is one of our better sellers in the catalogue. After a year of selling a few of these every week i decided to purchase a bottle for myself along with the aoolicator brush.
We have a pale blue carpet in the Dinning room and we have used everything to try and shift dirty stains from people walking in mud. The only thing that seemed to work is shaving foam, but it takes a lot of work to scrub large areas and then your get a very clean patch and the rest of the carpet is the normal colour.
So i decided to try the no wet wonder foam and the applicator brush. Its really easy to use, you poor a cap full of the liquid in to a bowl with some water and then dip the applicator brush into the bowl and give it a swish so that its starts to foam. Then you shake of any water and brush over the carpet. It takes ...
