Burgon & Ball Kneelo Garden Kneeler Union Jack

I writing this review mainly to get a weird habit/addiction I have out in the open.

I'm a union jack addict proud to be or not of which I am I see something classical and comforting in the union jack with the history behind it it make me feel like we people who live on this little island have an identity.

Without being political it may be a subliminal statement of which I haven’t realised but the union jack is so recognisable and such a statement its unique up there with the stars and stripes and the Olympic logo.

If I could afford it I’d have a mini with a union jack roof my ultimate aim, being a bloke the jack gives me pride and a mini is very girlie in some respects but it looks very good.

You may disagree with me and I have no issue with that, I have sometimes thought about getting a bulldog and union jack tattoo but have never had the courage, mainly because of the pain and the fact I hate needles and I probably would regret it.

I have a union jack floor mat at the front door, a sticker in my car window, salt and pepper pots, flag on my car aerial, a union jack wallet. I even have a couple of cushions that totally don’t go on my sofa .

When I came across the Burgon & Ball Kneelo Garden Kneeler Union Jack I had to have it even though I'm not an avid gardener as my wife is I have been cajoled into weeding so I have used it.

This was the centre piece of the kneeler display but its available in all manor of colours , yellow red green etc. but the union Jack style was the one that stood out.

The kneeler has a handle for easy carrying much like a laptop bag, the dimensions are favourable and sufficient at 50cm long x 29cm also the kneeler is made of EVA memory foam in 4 layers to allow it to reset to its original shape.

The cover waterproof neoprene which has the colour or in my case the union jack print on it, the cover skin is solidly waterproof and long lasting/strong and very easy to clean.

You can clean using a cloth or hose it down with a hose pipe leaving no residue or marks you can then happily store inside and being made of foam its is very lightweight and easy to carry with the integral handle.

Having used it before the rain came and not being as small and light weight as my wife I really squashed it out of shape but it held up with me kneeling on it and revert back to shape if slower then when my wife uses it.

I bought the union jack kneeler from our local garden centre for £13.99 but that was with a £2 discount, expensive I know but it looked the part and my excuse was it was to save my knees and my wife’s so I got away with it.

I see this being used regularly once the rain stops and we can get out in the garden, with a lot of slabs and rockeries's there is plenty of kneeling needed in my garden, so in the end if it saves any painful experiences on my knees it would be a good buy.

I would recommend this kneeler as the plain ones are significantly cheaper at £8.00 to £12.00 depending where you buy or if you need to add postage on top.
If you are proper green fingered and spend hours gardening then this would be a magnificent purchase for you and should be part of a professional gardeners tool set.

So in respect of use it does what its meant to very well and in certain forms is a credible price the union jack one is a special edition so it slightly over priced but its down to taste and personal preference which is good and the manufacturers have given a very good choice in colours to cater for all.
