I was bought this camera for my birthday over five years ago and I would say it's a good camera that has done me well. I love the way the pictures come back developed with the negatives, but they are now little colour pictures on one sheet. This little camera went everywhere with me, and still use it now and again because I love to have photos printed out so that you can look through them with your friends or family without hunting them down and crowding round the computer too see them. The camera comes in a handy black material case and has a strap to fit on the side of the camera itself. The front is silver and the back is black.

Taking pictures__
The camera lets you take three different sized pictures. Classic which is 88.9 x 127 mm to 102 x 152mm. Group/HDTV which is 88.9 x 152 mm to 102 x 178mm or you have panoramic which is 88.9 x 254mm to 102 x 254mm. To do this you must choose C, H, or p, using the format-selector switch found on the top of the camera, on the left hand side if you are holding it the way you would to take a picture. As you look through the view finder and select the size you want the view finder changes shape so you can see what the picture will come out like, pretty handy as I can never remember which one is for what size.
Tips for a better picture__
Keep your pictures simple. Make sure you are close enough but no closer than one metre, you will need to do this as it has no zoom facility. Take pictures at the subject's level, kneel down to take pictures of children and pets. Hold the camera vertically to capture tall, narrow subjects. I think it is most important to keep the sun behind you, this also provides the best illumination.
Flash__
In dim light, such as indoors or even outdoors in heavy shade or overcast days you will need a flash. This camera has a built in flash which pops up on the right of the camera as you are looking at it. It pops up when you open the shutter and fires when needed. When the camera flash is ready the flash ready lamp will glow, which is found next to the view finder. To minimise red eyes in pictures turn on the lights if you are indoors and get the subjects to face the light, the pop up flash is meant to help fed eye too, not quite sure how.
Self timer__
You can include yourself in pictures as well using the self timer button, all you have to do is place the camera down, making sure you have looked through the view finder first to see if it is in the rite place, slide the lens cover open and press the self timer button, which is found on the top of the camera to the right hand side if you are holding it to take a picture, the button is smaller than the shutter button and has a clock like indicator next to it, this will also appear in the LCD display on the top to assure you that it is working. Press the shutter button and the self timer lamp on the front of the camera will glow and flash in the last two seconds of count down, this gives you ample time to get in place. To cancel the self timer before it goes off, close the lens cover.
Auto rewind__
The camera automatically rewinds the film after the last picture is taken. If you don't want to take all the pictures on the film there is a manual rewind button found just under the self timer one but is much smaller and can not be pushed with your finger, this will start the manual rewind but you can not reload a partially exposed film to continue to use this film.

__ My conclusion__
It is a very easy camera to use which is small and light, perfect if you are not into digital cameras, the only downfall I can think of it the fact that it does not have a zoom facility. I do not know the price of the camera so I can't really say its good value for money because I might be wrong. I would recommend it and was very impressed with it when I received it for my birthday, but we are talking over five years ago. I must say I like the way you can choose the size of the picture you are about to take.
Advantages: very easy to use, great picture quality Disadvantages: films cost more than the standard types
...Anymore advertising cheese, and the Kodak Advantix is in danger of being made into a fondue. However, don’t let this fool you – it really is good, even if I haven’t seen any rogue gorillas get into my photos.
My first camera was one of those that are specifically designed for children. That is to say as bright and cheap as possible so a) it’s easier to find when the child inevitably loses it somewhere, and b) it doesn’t ... ...one.
I chose the Kodak Advantix on the basis that the picture quality looked superb and it had lots of good features as well as being good value.
There are three different types of picture that can be taken with that camera. This means that you can take wide panoramic shots as well as the standard sized ones. You can mix and match different sizes with the same film, so this means you can tailor make your own sets of pictures.
There is also a timer ...

Advantages: Takes different sizes of pictures Disadvantages: Film and develpment prices
...to use, if you use Kodak film then a 25 exp will cost aprox £4.50 where as I use Tesco film and I can buy a triple pack of 25 exp for only £6.88 or a 40exp film for £3.64 and I find they produce the same quality of photos as Kodak film. Developing prices, I use Bonus Print and I pay £3.25 for up to 27 exp or £4.25 for up to 40exp these are the best prices I have found to date. I know that digital cameras are more popular now but I still find this ...

Advantages: Easy to load film different picture sizes and good looking Disadvantages: Lots of problems
I am not a very big user of cameras as i have only had 2 in the last 5 years i just bought this one the other day as part of a special christmas deal and i got 2 free films and a case with batteries for £34.99 and i was surprised what a great deal.
When i got home i was using it for a trial and found out to lift the light you have to move the lens cover when i did this i did not feel to safe the way it just shot up and i tried to be more carefull ... ...went to the shop and expected advanced photo system quality pictures i just got the same old bad photos.
I then went home and used the rest of the other film and the photo's where the same bad so i thought this is not so good i then looked at it to see if there was any way i could change it but there was three different modes and i tried them all and all it does is change the size.
Then the worst happened i flicked the light up and it stopped flashing ...

Advantages: easy to use Disadvantages: price to buy films and develop photos
I received this camera last year as a Christmas gift from my partner .I was shocked to receive a camera for Xmas but relieved it wasn’t a kettle or toaster (or some other kitchen item).lol
I put the batteries and film in and away I went snapping photos left, right and centre.
I love it I don’t know why I never got a camera before. (I think it was all them chopped heads, photos of fingers and red eyes on my parent’s pictures that put me off).
I’m ... ...to operate
*it turns on by a little switch at the front that also slides the lens cap out the way –therefore no more taking pics with the lens cap on .
*the lens is a 6.4/24mm EKTANAR LENS * It has an automatic flash so you don’t forget to put the flash on.-and it charges up the flash pretty quick so u dont have to wait to long to take the next picture
*it auto winds on so no danger of over lapping photos because you’ve wound it on to much or ...

Advantages: Easy to use, very fast loading film Disadvantages: Slightly higher costs with APS films
This was the last camera I bought before going digital, & I have to say it was the best compact camera I had ever used & the low price made it even better.
At the time I bought it, there was a special offer on which included a case, frame & picture CD with the camera, all for just £35.
The APS system is easy to get used to, there is no winding of the film which means no time consuming fiddling about. This also means that the films can be changed ... ...if the film has been inserted correctly.
You get the 3 options of photo size: normal (6*4), large (7*5) or panoramic. These could be alternated by the simple flick of switch. The viewfinder even changes to the different sizes so you can be sure you get the shot your aiming for.
I took this camera to Gran Canaria last year & I filled 4 films without having to change the batteries once. Also whilst on holiday, my fiancée & I went on a boat trip in ...
