The Kodak DC215 is an excellent camera with a lovely sleek design and a good picture viewer screen at the back. It has a good bright flash and a disable button for times when you dont think the camera is right when it selects flash when its quite light.
~~~The Camera~~~The DC215 can be bought in two colours:- Silver or Gold. I would rather choose the silver one because the gold is a bit over the top. It comes with Kodak's own 4MB compact-flash memory card which quickly fills up. It also comes with 4xAA batteries but I suggest you should get some rechargebale ones because it uses allot of power! If you take allot of pictures I also suggest you get a 32MB card which takes around 200 pictures you dont really need more than 32MB your not likely to use 1GB in a week are you!
~~~Features~~~The camera has a 58MM Kodak Externar Lens with Makro Focus but you can get add-on ones which are much more powerful. You can have the picture formats: JPEG or FlashPix. FlashPix takes up more space though. You can also change the Video Out format to have a slide-show on television in PAL (europe) or NTSC (other).
~~~Transferring Pictures~~~You transfer photos to your pictures via a serial lead there is a USB option though. You can also connect the camera to your computer using a Video lead. The camera is not supplied with a power lead though.
~~~Stand~~~There is a hole at the base of the camera for a stand to screw into.
~~~Cons~~~The only problem is that when you replace the batteries you have to set the clock.
